And she remembers her love story with Paulo. At end, the play receives a standing ovation. Maria Alice hugs Paulo. Paulo says thats our history. Maria Alice introduces Angelo. They will marry. To love is to want the good of the other.

Married comic actors Hattie Jacques and actor John LeMesurier seem the perfect couple, with their two young sons and the legendary Christmas dinners they host for their friends. He later commented about this period: "I could have walked out, but, whatever my feelings, I loved Hattie and the children and I was certain—I had to be certain—that we could repair the damage" During these upheavals in her personal life, Jacques was surprised to be the subject of This Is Your Life when she was approached by Eamonn Andrews during rehearsal for the sixth series of Sykes and a... Although Le Mesurier did not mention the marital situation when being questioned by Andrews, he made the comment that for Jacques "the home comes first", To preserve Hattie's public reputation, her husband accepts blame in the divorce court and will remain on good terms with her for the rest of her life. Two years later Schofield deserts Hattie for an Italian heiress. She will never remarry, seeking the company of younger men and succumbing to illness propounded by her size, leading to her death from a heart attack at the early age of fifty-eight.
