The movie has a painter with a hot wife. They move into a house arranged by a guy who finances husbands painting. He is more like an investor/producer. The painter paints in the basement of the house. The wife is hot and little bit flirty with everyone. But it feels like the investor/producer guy wants to fuck the wife more than anything. He is less interested in husband's paintings and more in his hot wife. There are dinner scenes in the movie where people sit and the investor along with the painter and wife also sit at that dinner table.
I maybe wrong but the wife could be blonde.
There is one scene where the wife in the investor's house in his library room. Looking at the book and the investor tries kiss her or something and she kisses him back or not I am not sure but when she pull back and have her back to him..he comes from behind and kiss her on neck and squeezes her.
The keeps painting. I am not sure if saw that movie in this website or somewhere else. But its a very interesting dynamic. A flirty wife that marries a painter and the producers/investors of the paintings want to fuck her.

You must have seen a scene in which his mom moves with a rich man in the car....later the son gets her phone number...and he calls ...a kid picks up ...& he says can I speak to your mom (just to check his mom's status in the house)? Kid (a girl) replies just a moment.
Hence it's implied she married that man ...and kept his son in the dark...later she keeps on whoring....moreover cheating is very broad term not limited to husbands or relations one may cheat with norms & rules of the society.
I mean she is also not following the rules of an ideal mom or wife, hence she is cheating with the new man in her life (which I guess she did to grab his money) plus with her son...that is what is expected of a whore/slut.
A whore is very advance & broad term....a woman who can sell her body...can go to any extreme for money (cheat with anyone in her relation...she may hide it from....her father , mother, son.....norms of the society...rules of the country ...where prostitution may be illegal ....blah blah).
When I watch a film ...then I only watch ...sometimes I am afraid that I may forget breathing (just exaggerating it)...in my previous post...i.e. Adrift in Manhattan (2007) ...i may say that there was no cheating..how???
Because rose (Heather) being a doctor (she might be aware of psychological impacts on human brain due to a big grief....like loss of child.)......so she sees a wonderful opportunity to heal herself as well as the kid (destiny gives her a chance) ....by engaging in sex... where she not only sheds her emotions out ...(hence later returns to her husband) but also brings the kid out of sort of depression in which he was completely shut-off from the world...so buddy she was not cheating ....actually she was healing...so what if she had a husband in the film?

@stealthwifelover, I see your point about the part where the son called her mom and the rich guy's daughter answered the phone. Yes, the daughter not objecting to the mommy word could mean that she became her stepmother, or it is possible that no marriage happened, maybe she just became a live-in girlfriend/kept woman and the rich guy just told her daughter to treat her as her mom. So that would make her either a cheating wife or a cheating gf later when she's still accepting clients. However, that part is not clear-cut too. Maybe something happened to her relationship with the rich dude already, especially if she's just a live-in gf. Maybe they already separated. And the wake at the end, I'm not sure if the rich dude is there and he's the one who facilitated and spent for that wake because it looks expensive, but the shot is an overhead shot and only the kid can be positively identified because he fainted and we can see his face from the overhead shot. If we did confirm that he's the one who spent for it, then maybe she did become his wife.
All in all, I'd put this movie in the gray area and will put it in the thread I just created:
