If you need only subtitles I use this line --all-subs --skip-download

example from my post above:

youtube-dl --all-subs --skip-download https://www.france.tv/france-2/la-garconne/la-garconne-saison-1/1919051-episode-3.html

In this case you will get .vtt subtitles. You can convert .vtt to .srt with Subtitle Edit or similar app.

Downloaded and checked again. Tested on my mobile phone, PC and TV.
Your media player must have x265 codec. Try with mpc-hc or VLC or similar players with x265 (HEVC) support.
