@wilfhunter dude, reposting old movies doesn't mean giving a lot to the forum. I said in my first post that I am here to watch movies, it is a fact that I do not contribute to movies, but I do not understand these things. Yeah but those people in question reposting old movies also share new movies, so you just discounted their contribution of new movies because they also share reposts?
I'm ok with losing old members that don't contribute too much, but losing people who contribute new movies (despite them also sharing reposts) is far more important to me.
And reposts are not bad per se, if some members don't want them anymore, other people still will. You can't really please all people and I don't know what the best setup is right now, so I'm gonna try this thing where we separate them into two threads and see how it goes.
Again, you can criticize and remind members about the rules, but just say it nicely. To other people, including those that have engaged @davidboos80 in arguments, this is also applicable to you. Because I reviewed @davidboos80's interaction and it seems that namecalling is also hurled at him so he reacts.
I agree with @tinhorse and @unknownman. Re-posting dead links quoting the original post is something I personally appreciate. 1) Not every movie is listed in the full movie list. 2) It might be a movie I haven't heard about before the re-post. 3) Newer members would have to go through 350+ pages of this thread to know about the movies. 4) Most of the users complaining never post anything of their own. 6) Without these re-posts there sometimes only be 2 posts a day, not like there are 50+ posts a day.
Just my input.
Make a separate tread for reposts, those who apreciate the repost can check it, those who opose can refer from looking.
And maybe also do a little cleaning up in all the different treads, some seem unnecessary.
Alright, let's try mi6's suggestion. I was holding off on putting up such a thread because it might not take off, just like the other threads in this forum aside from the main thread. Or there could be a chance that this new thread will cannibalize the main thread. But let's see how it goes.
All reposts should be done in the thread below. I will delete any repost on this thread immediately unless a new movie is being posted and the posts about that particular movie are within range of each other (aka within same page or one or two pages back).
Now I won't certainly be able to catch all reposts due to memory limitations, so please help me with that by commenting that the post is a repost (without the insults to the particular poster).If you can't be bothered to do your part, then you have no reason to complain.

I do need members like you to keep people in check, including me when I get too complacent in implementing the rules. However, the complaints of some users about you are valid: that you are insulting in the way you give your comments/criticisms to people who contribute a lot while you don't contribute much.
I have no problem with people not contributing, I mean there are a lot of lurkers here. But please do be careful with your criticisms from now on. Please say them in a nice way. If you will still be insulting and hurtful in your words, then I will be forced to ban you.

Yes, even if their links are dead, they shouldn't be reposted. Unless there's a demand for them a.k.a someone requests for them. Otherwise, theoretically, thousands of movies can be reposted which will fill up the thread and it won't be a good user experience for everybody.
Well then none of the movies are meant for you.
Updates are for new and prospective members that have not seen.
We have been through this before, if doesn't suit you take no notice.

I did put in the rules that there should be no reposts unless a user asks for an already posted movie. I was being lenient on this rule because 1) not a lot seems to be complaining until @superleague and 2) because you still provide a lot of new movies along with your reposts. But now I am gonna be stricter and will delete future reposts as well as reposts in the last few pages. So just concentrate on providing new movies, dudes. Thank you, and keep em coming.
