Episode 1

Episode is about how Jamie and Amandine met 7 years earlier. Begins with Amandine kissing in bed with yet her fiance, son of a billionaire. Next scene with Amandine and boyfriend on the billionaire’s yacht.

Jamie working below decks as an assistant chef, meets Amandine and they fall in love. She ditches the billionaire’s son who is cheating on her.

She’s pregnant but Jamie marries her although he’s not the father.

Episode 5

Amandine's therapist confronts Amandine “You betrayed Jamie by cheating with 3 other men”. Amandine nonchalantly replies “Yes”. Therapist “The fact of the matter is you got caught cheating with 3 other men” Amandine “What makes you think I got caught”.

Meaning – she let Jamie see evidence of her cheating on him.

Jeff is a university lecturer. Give’s a guest lecture at a university, afterwards cheats on wife Lue.

Amandine and Jamie are separated, she texts Jamie “All you need is love’. This is a lyric from a Beatles song… sung by Paul (McCartney). So she’s giving him a clue as to who Paul is (the 3rd guy who screwed her).

Jamie gets the clue refers to a costume party where some of them dressed as the Beatles. Looks at a video from the party… Paul is his brother in law Jeff, his best friend. Very cruel Amandine.

Episode 6

Jamie sends Amandine a note he knows who Paul is and wants to meet with her tonight. Showdown coming right? Not the way Jamie anticipated.

Lue, who is a bit nuts, has a fantasy she’s a fashion designer in 1920s Paris. She has a tryst with a handsome man in her fantasy. She tells her fantasy man she knows everything about Jeff her husband’s cheating.

The Showdown, it’s a good one – Amandine and Jamie meet in a hotel room. Jamie lets her have it, recounting all her cheating and how her cheating with Jeff was particularly hurtful. Jamie takes his wedding ring off.

Amandine asks “So it’s over, you don’t even want to know why?” (Oh we do).

Gets Jamie to yell that cheating with even one of the three men is devastating.

Then gives him the gory details about screwing each of the men. And when she was screwing Jeff his best friend she was feeling very guilty, but then she came really hard, lasting about a minute. “I know I’ve done awful things, cheating is bad. But we have contraception, and monogamy is really hard, right?” She’s taunting Jamie.

Jamie “You’re only saying this because you got caught”. Amandine “Oh you didn’t catch me”.

Amandine then plays a video on the TV. She gets up and leaves the hotel room. The clip shows her burning a love manifesto they wrote to each other, then she shifts the camera to a balcony in a hotel across the street where Jamie in a bathrobe is kissing a woman in a bathrobe.

They share a last look on the street, she winks at Jamie then jumps in a cab and leaves.

Whales appear in several episodes, apparently representing the health of their relationship. At episode's end a huge whale drops from the sky dead on the street near Jamie and Amandine, representing the death of their marriage.

Jamie phones best friend Jeff and tells him we need to talk.

This was quirky and kept me guessing what was going on. Too bad there wasn’t a second season.

In New London, every people is classified - From A+ to E - "Alphas Plus" to "Epsilon" - the "Alpha Plus" are the "dominants" and the "Epsilon" the lower level, the servants without no will. There, lives Hot Lenina, a "Beta Plus" and a Scientist who works as a "Fertilizer" - creating "in vitro babys". No family is allowed - no relationship. All humans are born as in vitro childs with no parents. At the hotel, Bernard and Lenina know the "attractions" of the park. In the bedroom, Lenina tells Bernard how women were screwed into monogamy, at "Savage Era". Meanwhile, alone with Lenina, Linda says they don't need "Soma" - "satisfaction pills" - to live. Linda is a Beta too. The Rebels arrive. John, Linda, Bernard and Lenina flee in Pope's truck. They want to reach the barrier that protects New London from the Savages. But the rebels close the road. They decide to walk through the forest. Linda tells John that she is a Beta and her father is an Alpha Plus. Linda hopes that Bernard will be able "to put" John into New London and save him. But the barrier that protects New London is controlled by Indra ("The God"). The Barrier kills all Savages that try to cross. John is afraid to cross because he thinks his mother is lying about his past. A shot is taken - and Linda pushes John, he crosses the barrier. Everybody is saved. Sheila tells Bernard to warn the New London leaders not to go back there. Now they run Savage Land. On the drive back to New London, Linda is bleeding. She was hit by the shot. At New London, Bernard and Lenina try to resume their lives. John is isolated. He wants to know what happened to your mother. Mustafa Mond tries to calm down John. John discover the "Brave New World".

Bernard tries to befriend John and introduce him to New London. John is introduced to Indra. Bernard introduces John to Julian, the doctor. Julina classifies John as an Alpha. However, John does not let Julian install the "OI" - the "camera" eye that connects him to Indra. He runs away. Without the "OI" he is not "classified" and is treated as a "Savage". John runs away and goes to the Epsilon's dinner hall. The Director finds him. Lenina goes back to work. She does "fertilization". In New London everyone is born through this system. So no one but has "social feelings" for someone else - like - maternal feelings. The Director tells John that he can help him. He is the only one who can help him get out of there. Lenina meets Bernard. She wants to know if the deal they made at Savage Land is still valid. Bernard says that nothing has changed. But Lenina says that she has changed. Lenina isn't happy. John discovers The Director's true identity. They fight. John is lost at orgy room and is rescued by Bernard. Mustafa Mond asks Bernard to mentor John. She reveals that The Director is dead. "He fell". There is now a vacancy open. And Bernard wants her for him. He agrees to be John's mentor and proceeds to offer him "Soma" - the "satisfaction pills".
