Alex (Kate Winslet) is going to get married tomorrow but her flight to the place of her wedding is canceled. So she charters a small plane along with Ben, a black guy, who also is in a rush because he has a patient to attend to. Their plane crashes in the snowy mountains, but they both survive. In the next days, they try to survive. First, they remain in the crash site to wait for rescue, but when no one comes, they walk to try to find the nearest civilization. They come across an abandoned cabin. Here, they have sex.
