Plot - Raised in the Morro de São Jerônimo favela, Verônika (Roberta Rodrigues) overcomes adversity to become a formidable, sharp criminal defense attorney operating in Rio de Janeiro's upper-crust legal world. Her established professional life unravels when she agrees to represent Rod (Dhério Chagas), a powerful local drug kingpin from her former community facing high-stakes charges.
