After their first adventure with the Hot Tub Time Machine, Lou and Nick are living very well off their ill-gotten gains, while Jacob still cannot rely on Lou to be a positive role model. When an unknown assailant breaks into Lou's mansion and shoots him, Nick and Jacob take him for another trip in the hot tub. They emerge in the year 2025, where they must figure out who shot Lou and prevent it from happening again.

Since the wedding ceremony has started, the groom searches for his bride and catches her and his uncle in the act in the bride’s dressing room. The bridesmaids are in the same room (or just in the other room) and knows what's going on and leaves without a word when the groom enters. The scene where the wife seduces her husband's uncle is at 1:13:39 and their actual sex scene is at 1:16:28. It's non-nude and done in a comedic way. There are nude scenes in other parts of the movie.
