- Will Macon Portrayed by Garret Dillahunt: William "Will" Macon, Sr. is a resident of Rushville, Nebraska and caretaker of a branch which he used to prepare a militia for an alien invasion.
- Zoe Macon Portrayed by Poorna Jagannathan: "Zoe Macon" is a Manhunter who was captured by Abin Sur. However, Sur crashed, allowing "Zoe" to escape and pose as a nurse. There, she met and married Will Macon, enjoying her life with him until she met John Stewart and Hal Jordan, leading to an attempt on her life.
- John Stewart Portrayed by Aaron Pierre: John Marshall Stewart, Jr. is a former United States Marine Corps sniper, and a recruit inducted into the Green Lantern Corps assigned to train under the tutelage of veteran Lantern legend Hal Jordan.

Hal and John agree to go to the Macon Ranch for a barbecue.

Episode 4:
00:28:15 Hal and John are captured by an advanced weapon that cloaks them in darkness, and brought before Macon, who makes the latter sketch him as he poses nude. Sheriff Kerry arrives in time to get them back to the motel, where Zoe visits John before they sleep together.

Personally, if the DC Universe doesn't interest you, I wouldn't recommend watching the series. The two sex scenes aren't worth the time you'd spend trying to understand the story.
I did it because I’d already started watching the series, and the cheating was a bonus.
There is no nudity in this series, except for when the husband in episode 4 decides to show us his ass... And asks John to draw him!
HBO in the 2000s: We probably would have gotten Zoe's ass instead. And if the actress had refused, they would have chosen a different actress.
HBO 2026: only male nudity is allowed.
