The film tells us how university vacations changed our protagonist's life. The vacations took him home, as they did every year, but that year he was overcome by the vertigo of passion, culminating in a marriage proposal. Everything turns out to be ephemeral, misleading, where the betrayal of his closest friend may, after all, stem solely from his characteristic recklessness. But the reasons don't matter, what matters are the actions and their interpretation by each of the characters, which lead to the supreme act of love... and revenge.

Characters:
Carlos (Carlos Malvarez): The betrayed fiancé driven to madness.
Amália (Vera Moura): The unfaithful, guilt-ridden lover of Carlos.
Simão (Miguel Amorim): The backstabbing childhood friend.
Cheating scene:
At 11:08, Simão enters Amália's room through the window. She tells him to leave and attempts to call her brother. He pushes her against the wall and covers her mouth with his hands to silence her.
He threatens her, warning how her brother might react if he knew a man had been in her room. He then begins kissing her, telling her he has desired her since the moment he saw her. At first, she tried to resist him. He lifts her skirt and begins kissing her, eventually lying on top of her as she remains naked beneath him. She struggles briefly but stops resisting when he firmly grasps her erect breasts and then moves his hands downward.
From a distance, Carlos sees Simão climbing down from Amália’s window. He understands exactly what has taken place.
(The scene was brief, and somewhat underwhelming thought he will suck her while gripping the tits. Still, I’ll keep an eye on Vera Moura going forward.)
