Betray (2023, USA)
A lower budget Tubi movie, the lead actress Shi Smith makes this worth watching. She's pretty and does a good job portraying a smug, bored wife Candace.
Her husband Joel is scrambling for work, sometimes he's out of town. Candace is bored with Joel and their home life together. Candace works as a hairdresser with her pal Stephanie. Stephanie's boyfriend is Deon who is a player.
Deon starts seducing Candace. makes his play on her birthday when Joel gets hung up out of town. Candace and Deon fuck a couple of nights at an Airbnb he owns.
Stephanie and Joel both get tipped that Candace and Deon are having an affair. A couple of nights later everyone shows up at the Airbnb with Candace and Deon in bed. A knife and a gun are drawn, there are two shots.
SPOILERS
Epilogue: Joel has kicked Candace out and looks happy living with a new woman. Candace has a baby, likely Deon's it's not Joel's. She comes by to pick up her mail, Joel gives her the mail, pretty much just closes the door in her face.
Candace is left looking at the closed door with no home, no marriage, no husband, a single mother.
The Painted Veil (2006, China, Canada, US)
This is a good movie, the screenplay is adapted from the novel by Somerset Maugham, and has beautiful photography of locations in China. Set in China in 1925, stars a very pretty Naomi Watts as Kitty, married to Walter, a doctor.
Flashback scene newly arrived in China, Walter awkwardly has sex with Kitty. Kitty becomes bored with the marriage and has no loyalty to Walter who treats her well.
Kitty joins the social scene and brazenly starts an affair with their friend Charlie. Walter knows about them and is going to walk in on them in bed, turns doorknob but changes his mind.
Walter confronts Kitty (this is a great scene), she confidently talks down to him trying to dictate how their marriage will end. Walter’s not having it, tells her she must leave the big city and follow him to a small rural village where he’s going to be treating a cholera epidemic. Kitty of course says No, Walter says “Fine I’ll file for divorce tomorrow”. Stops Kitty in her tracks says she and Charlie and I are in love. Walter tells her “OK, go plead your case to your boyfriend, if he accepts you I will give you an amicable divorce”. Oily Charlie is married and of course tells Kitty he doesn’t want her. She has no choice but to follow her husband to avoid scandal, and she’s pregnant unsure who is the father.
It’s off to the rural village, a rough voyage for sophisticated Kitty most of it traveling by palanquin. In the village their marriage is very frosty, Kitty is bored, no affection for her husband. But she sees the heroic job Walter is doing trying to help the villagers, and warms to him, begins showing him affection, has her baby, and gradually falls in love with her husband. She grows to regret how terribly she treated him acing like a slut and is ashamed she isn’t sure who is her baby’s father.
Man About Town (2006, USA)
A comedy, involves a beautiful wife cheating on her husband. We don’t get to see the cheating, the wife confesses to her husband. But it’s a good film for showing a beautiful cheating wife being very regretful.
Jack is the head of a talent agency in LA, he and his work partners are pretty much aggressive assholes. He’s married to gorgeous, trophy wife Nina.
Nina tearfully confesses to Jack she cheated with his biggest client. Jack sits there gobsmacked.
I liked this scene, Jack tells his work partner Arlene they have to drop this important client because "Nina has been sucking Phil Balow's cock. Does she expect me to ever kiss her again, because that's never going to happen. Arlene: "You'll stop on your way home, you’ll grab some Listerine. She’ll have a nice gargle and then you’ll figure out a way to move on.”
At 26:30 Nina tries to apologize, Jack tells her she can get her stuff from her mother's garage.
1:15:30 Nina comes to Jack’s office and tells him she’s a flawed piece of shit and she’ll beg if he wants her to. Tries several arguments, said very lovingly to him. Jack cold as fuck “Get out”. Awesome.

Fatal Affair (2020, US)
Does a married woman making out with a man at a club, having him take off her panties, count as cheating?
Let’s say it does, and certainly the wife is regretful in this movie. This Netflix film has the tired, old Lifetime movie script of wife cheats on husband, boyfriend is CRAZY and gets murderously possessive over her, and tries to fuck up her and her family.
Ellie is long married to Marcus, they have a daughter in college. She seems to have a perfect life.
Enter David, newly hired by her firm, Ellie knew him in college. After work David invites Ellie for drinks. Ellie tells David “I have a perfect marriage, but one day you wake up 20 years later and you realize the person sleeping next to you feels like complete stranger”. A wife should not be telling this to another man especially when she’s out for drinks with him.
Some slow dancing, David starts kissing her, she runs to the bathroom. Comes out, David’s there, starts kissing her again she kisses back, moves her to counter, lifts her up on it, she’s sitting. Takes off her panties, unzips his fly… and that’s enough for Ellie. She tells him No and runs home.
Tells her husband about David she almost screwed David because “I was drunk and got caught up in a situation, the last thing I wanted to do was hurt you. I’m sorry”. She really can’t give him any good reason what she did. A few scenes later tells a distant Marcus “I’m sorry, I’m sorry for all of it”. They make up.
The rest of the movie she tries improving her marriage and dealing with crazy David when he starts leaving a trail of bodies all over town and nearly kills everyone in her family. Tired old plot, difficult to recommend this.

How many movies about married women whose lover then becomes obsessed and wants to kill her and her family have they made? I've lost count. Lol. They always do that plot.

This is kind of a trick, but it's okay because he regrets it. There are many movies with a similar plot. I haven't come across this movie before. There are many undiscovered movies that fit this topic. You should continue sharing, bro.
Anthem (2011, USA)
Script, acting and production values suffer in this film, if I had to guess this is a porn movie company’s attempt in a more mainstream film.
Tom is married to Maddie, he works as a car detailer, she works in a boutique. But Tom is a frustrated writer (LOL this guy a writer)
They meet a rich couple who interest Maddie in the swinger / sex party lifestyle. Tom doesn’t want any part of it. Maddie starts fucking the rich husband, Tom is unaware. Maddie convinces Tom to attend a party at the rich couple’s place. Tom loses track of Maddie, eventually walks into a room with 20 people watching his wife get railed by the rich guy. (The emotions shown by Tom here are Oscar worthy /s).
Maddie moves in with the rich couple, and schemes to replace the rich wife in the rich couple’s marriage. Rich wife learns of her plan, stops it dead in its tracks. Maddie comes home tail between her legs, all lovey-dovey for Tom, instead finds a note. Oh oh. Tom has won a publishing contract and is starting a new life as a writer, wishes her well in the future. Maddie reads the note in tears.

Heartlands (2002, UK)
A comedy. Colin is a mild mannered owner of a news shop. Is married to Sandra. A big part of Colin’s life is his dart team. Sandra is cheating on Colin with the dart team captain, Geoff. Early in the movie we see Geoff shagging an enthusiastic Sandra. One night Colin looks out the window and sees Sandra having a long kiss with Geoff.
Colin confronts her right away, she tries to lie to him, Colin’s not having it, he saw what he saw. Sandra storms out and leaves him, moves in with Geoff.
It’s the regional finals for his dart team, Geoff drops Colin from the team, and the team travels to Blackpool for the tourney, Sandra travels with Geoff.
Colin very uncharacteristically decides to travel to Blackpool and convince Sandra to come back to him. Jumps on his moped and he’s off. The film is about Colin’s road trip, meeting new people, growing as a person. He eventually arrives in Blackpool…
SPOILERS
Sandra is losing patience with Geoff, he’s an ill-mannered lout. Colin shows up in the big hall holding the tourney and sees Sandra with Geoff, approaches and says to Sandra he wants to speak to his wife. Over Geoff’s objections, Sandra agrees. Geoff proceeds to get in a brawl with another dart team.
Sandra acted cold and brassy when she's with Geoff, now she’s weepy and submissive (not sure I buy her personality could change this much, but whatever). She tells Colin she’s leaving Geoff, I think she wants to reconcile. Not happening. Colin tells her he won’t go back to being a shop owner, watching life go past his window. Sandra, crying, says she’s been a damn fool. Sandra asks: You mean you won’t come back to me? Colin says he loves her but he’s a rambling man now. Sandra is crying: “Sorry Colin'. Then asks "What am I going to do now? (My take – to hell with her). Colin is the ultimate nice guy and gives her the keys to the shop, movie ends with him riding his moped down the highway.
@matheuss Man about town... my write up was getting long, I left off the ending. Jack's wife is super model beautiful, she tries one more time at the end of the movie, crying "I want to come home"... I don't think any man could resist her forever.
@moviefan A man with dignity can do it. My best friend was going to marry a beautiful woman, and she cheated on him. Obviously, he broke up with her. She begged him, but he wouldn't accept. Today, he's married and she's a single mother. By the way bro can you check your messages, if can.
After losing her son, Rachael distances herself from her husband Colonel Lewis. She and her husband move to a new house. Host Stephen and Rachael are drawn to each other and start making love. Lewis learns of his wife's betrayal during a party and they confront each other. It is time for Rachael to make a choice.
Good movie. Even though his wife betrays him, his remorse is evident.

Lisa “whatever you do with her it won’t make you feel better.” Joe “Yes it will” Lisa leaves, Joe doesn’t come home that night. The next morning Joe comes home Lisa tells him that she made a mistake, but his was a cold hearted decision that is completely different. (Ya sure Lisa). Joe said “Still feels the same though, eh?
