Betty - Schön wie der Tod (2003)
https://www.imdb.com/de/title/tt0321429/
https://wilfmovies.com/movies/betty-schon-wie-der-tod-2003/
A young woman devotedly runs her father-in-law’s construction company, but her husband’s reckless lifestyle threatens the company’s very existence. Together with the company’s authorized signatory, she plans the perfect murder, which seems to be going according to plan. But when the investigating detective falls in love with the attractive widow, things start to spiral out of control.
Betty Theissen runs her father-in-law's company and is completely absorbed in the role. Her husband Herbert, on the other hand, takes little interest in the construction business.
Cast:
? : Herbert (husband)
Claudia Michelsen: Betty Theissen (wife)
Erol Sander: Thomas Lohner former lover (deceased)
Udo Kier: Georg Wassenberg (detective)

Plot:
Betty Theissen runs her father-in-law’s company and is completely devoted to the role. Her husband, Herbert, on the other hand, takes little interest in the construction business; in fact, his lavish lifestyle is jeopardizing the company’s survival. That is certainly how Betty sees it, and she decides the situation must end. She wants Herbert dead. Through a meticulously planned murder, she appears to have pulled off the perfect crime. Together with Thomas Lohner, a senior executive at the firm, she kills her husband. Alcohol and pills found in the victim's system are intended to throw investigators off the scent. The plan also hinges on Betty being viewed as the victim of a violent assault by her husband and on a large sum of money going missing from the company coffers. Since no body is initially found, the police assume Herbert Theissen has gone into hiding after attacking his wife. The initial questioning by Detective Georg Wassenberg proceeds along these lines; he quickly classifies the attack on Betty as an attempted murder by her husband. However, Betty declines to press charges. It also becomes apparent that Wassenberg has taken a liking to Betty; he feels drawn to this woman who is both vulnerable and strong. Meanwhile, Betty’s plan seems to be working. When Herbert Theissen’s body is discovered by a pond, Detective Wassenberg quickly concludes it is a case of suicide. Yet one detail gives the detective pause: why would Herbert Theissen embezzle a large sum from the company only to take his own life? And why was the victim lying face-down in the water if the autopsy report indicates he had already died from a pill overdose? Detective Wassenberg’s young but sharp-witted assistant, Dina, is certain: Betty Theissen and Lohner killed Herbert Theissen together. Interrogations of Betty’s in-laws also point in this direction. However, Wassenberg refuses to accept this possibility—for he has fallen in love with Betty. And when he and Betty do indeed spend a passionate night together, Georg is completely captivated. He turns a blind eye to inconsistencies and to Mina’s warnings. But the situation comes to a head when he begins to suspect Lohner not only of being a rival for Betty’s affections but also of being the murderer. Georg accuses Lohner of the crime and threatens him with evidence. Shortly thereafter, Lohner vanishes. It is only late in the game that Wassenberg uncovers his lover’s gruesome secret.
Cheating Notes:
Betty kills her husband with the help of her lover, Thomas. Shortly thereafter, the lover is found dead (we learn this at the end of the film), but he had actually died much earlier—right after Detective Georg started investigating Betty.
Let me be clear: there is no cheating in this film because by the time George starts sleeping with Betty, her husband—and even the lover—is already dead.
It’s a shame, though, because Claudia Michelsen is naked in both sex scenes. I’m including the scene here anyway:

Conclusion: no cheating—Betty is a widow.

Die Nichte des Polizisten 2025,
there was a sex scene where Rebecca Henselmann (played by Magdalena Laubisch) the main character was having a steamy sex inside a room, while the other guy was at the door.
Anyone seen this movie? is there any cheating involved?
I know she isn't married, but imdb says she has a close romantic relationship with a colleague. Wondering if it was that colleague waiting at the door.

No cheating in it. I also hoped that was the case cause the sex scene would make him get cucked hard. But no, if i remember correctly he's just a colleague that likes her or friendly with her but secretly wants her. But she went for the other colleague thats more aggressive.
A Savage Nature (2020)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13154142/
https://wilfmovies.com/movies/a-savage-nature-2020/
Synopsis:
A lonely waitress is desperate to escape her small town and repair her marriage to her deputy sheriff husband. On the evening of their wedding anniversary, the troubled couple attempts to make a fresh start, but things take an unexpected turn when sinister strangers invade their home. As the night unfolds, loyalties shift, secrets spill, and lives shatter.
A Savage Nature opens with a focus on interesting characters and the dejected situations they live in. We meet Beth Walker (Joanna Whicker) as she sits in the break room of the diner she works at, wistfully looking through a travel brochure advertising scenic beaches and perfect weather. Through a conversation with her pregnant co-worker, Ally (Rayanne Gonzales), we learn that life isn’t exactly where she imagined it would be.
Beth is the former prom queen who married Pete (Steve Polites), the hometown war hero turned police officer. Their big dreams never materialized and now Beth is desperately searching for a way out of her small Virginia town while trying to put the spark back into the marriage. The viewer learns all this in an elegant, well-acted, and well-written scene early in the story–one that immediately endears the audience to Beth and her personal struggles.
The difficult task of navigating this small town life is immediately on display when she returns from her break only to be harassed by two unsavory looking patrons, Doug (Jon Hudson Odom) and J.B. (Joseph Carlson). Beth handles herself well, as it’s apparent she may have been down this road with other customers before. Eventually, Sheriff Walter (Frank Riley III) steps in to diffuse the situation. Of course, it isn’t the last we’ll see of Doug and J.B., later on they’re the ones who will terrorize Beth and Pete in their home.
