Lovelife is a 1997 American romantic comedy film. Alternating between pithy and smarmy, Lovelife is first-time writer-director Jon Harmon Feldman's attempt to marry the ensemble character appeal of TV's "Friends" with an introspective look at relationships akin to Woody Allen. Although it never really achieves the lasting pleasures of either, there are moments where the film works well, and just enough of them emerge to make Lovelife a talky but well-made film about relationships where the grass always seems greener on the other side.

Falling in love, breaking up, and blind dates... welcome to the world of the twenty-something, pushing thirty, grad student. Plot:

Zoey is also involved with a professor, Alan, who lives with the airheaded Molly, who in turn has eyes for a mature professor, Bruce.

The plot follows the dalliances among seven collegian lovers, some graduate students and some professors, and their attempts to find happiness within their circle of friends. Alan (Jon Tenney) feels like he's stuck in a rut, when he can't seem to gain a reaction from Molly (Sherilyn Fenn) except unadulterated admiration. He soon has his eye on Zoey (Saffron Burrows), who is currently seeing Danny (Matt Letscher), but finds the allure of Alan's lustful desires too much to pass up. Meanwhile, Danny is the object of a crush by Amy (Carla Gugino), but he's so fixated on Zoey, she settles for loner dropout Tim (Peter Krause) instead. Finally, divorced professor Bruce (Bruce Davison) puts the moves on Molly, who is still reeling from her rejection by Alan.
With a premise like that, I was expecting a lot of sex—but nope, nothing but French kisses.

Personally, if the DC Universe doesn't interest you, I wouldn't recommend watching the series. The two sex scenes aren't worth the time you'd spend trying to understand the story.
I did it because I’d already started watching the series, and the cheating was a bonus.
There is no nudity in this series, except for when the husband in episode 4 decides to show us his ass... And asks John to draw him!
HBO in the 2000s: We probably would have gotten Zoe's ass instead. And if the actress had refused, they would have chosen a different actress.

However, given that Jack hasn’t exactly been a noble partner, to the degree that Nora has started sticking around and sleeping with everyone from a new-to-the-area homicide detective, Dani (Eoin Macken), to a handsome younger man, Chad (Jason Fernández), there is a possibility that she might want to kill him for real. Considering that Jack has private investigators following Nora, photographing and compiling evidence for him, he is aware of this and essentially blackmails her into following through on the plan his way.

They get into their car, the detective follows them. While they are in the car, Nora gives Chad a blowjob. Then, they decide to stop and go swimming. The detective gets out of his car too and sees them running naked towards the beach (it lasts no more than 2 seconds and they’re probably body doubles).
That’s probably for the best; let's face it, she’s a far cry from the Eva Green of *Casino Royale*. She’s definitely had work done on her face, because at 46 she already looks like a grandma (It's especially noticeable when she speaks!)—it completely took me out of the movie.

Andrey comes home, turns on the light, and finds a briefcase that isn't his in front of the door (he realizes that another man has arrived before him and is already in bed with his wife!).
Andrew is very nice; he opens the door and shuts it loudly this time to let his wife know he’s home.
Viktoriya is lying in the bedroom, wearing a silk nightgown. When she hears the door, she tells her lover that it must be her husband. "Andrey's back"
(The businessman is already dressed but doesn’t seem in any hurry to leave. He takes his time, he even seems completely at ease.)
Instead of going upstairs to find out who his wife was with, Andrey decides to make some more noise by using a coffee grinder!
Viktoriya comes downstairs. She tells him, "He'll leave."
Andrey asks her: who is it?
Viktoriya tells him "Gennady Mikhailovich, it had to be that way."
The Lover finally decides to come downstairs. and tell Andrey:
"Hello, Andrey. I heard you're rising through the ranks? You're welcome, Andrey. I'd be happy to be of assistance."
Andrey finally gets angry. The man picks up his briefcase and leaves.
Viktoriya then positions herself in front of the door to prevent him from following him. and tells him:
"Well, go ahead. I repeat, it was almost a businesslike and very important meeting."
"You're for real. I'm the nasty one. And you're clean? Or do you think you got your position under me some other way? This way, Andrey, that way. I don't really care about the methods; it won't hurt me. Because I made you who you are. And it's only thanks to me that you remain who you are. You always knew the value of our shared career. No. Don't lie. I can remind you. And please, know your place. It's too late to pretend."
There are no sex scenes in this movie. That's a shame, because Viktoriya—Andrey's wife—looks incredibly hot in her night-robe and high heels. It's one of those Russian films where you have to use your imagination for the sex scenes.

Unfortunately, in addition to being VHS, this version was dubbed into Russian so I couldn’t follow the story and above all understand what they were saying.
Jeff sees Ellen leaving the courthouse and talking to an acquaintance. Before getting into her car and driving off, Jeff decides to follow her. When they reach a forest, Ellen pulls over and confronts him, demanding to know why he was following her!
I don't know why Jeff decides to leave his car and get into Ellen's car! The two continue on the road together, heading towards Ellen's house!
Upon arriving at their destination, Ellen and Jeff exchange a few words, and Ellen forgets, or pretends to forget, her keys in the car seat. Before getting out, Jeff takes them and follows her.
(I don't know why, while Jeff is walking, there's a close-up of the keys as if they were something important.) Ellen reaches out to take them, but Jeff decides to open the door himself.
Ellen goes inside and doesn't close the door behind her. Jeff interprets this as an invitation and comes in as well.
Once in the living room, Jeff sees a photo of the couple. He asks her if it's her husband. She says yes, but he's not here right now because he travels often.
(This information did not fall on deaf ears.)
Jeff wastes no time, approaches Ellen, gives her the keys, and while doing so, tries to kiss her. She tells him she has to leave.
(She's in her own home, he's the one who should leave! If only she hadn't let him in!)
She moves away from him, Jeff follows her and corners her in the living room patio door. Jeff persists, Ellen tells him it's a mistake. She opens the door and hurries into the garden. Jeff continues to follow her. As soon as Jeff reaches her back, he places his hands on her shoulders and begins to caress her.
(He's pushy, but he knows what he's doing.) This time, Ellen doesn't push him away and lets him continue. The two start kissing; they do it for a little while, but Ellen changes her mind, ends it for good, and goes back to her house.
In the next scene, we see Ellen sitting in the living room. She seems lost in thought when suddenly the light in the bedroom above her comes on. There was another person in the house! She lied; her husband Michael had been there all along and had witnessed everything!
Michael comes down the stairs and approaches her. She stands up, and the couple exchanges glances (at this point, we don't know what will happen next).
Michael smiles and, without saying a word, he puts his hand on the back of her neck, pulls her towards him and starts kissing her passionately!
The couple starts making love in the living room, precisely in front of the French window. The camera zooms out and the scene ends, which is a shame.
(Given the intensity of their sexual intercourse, Michael really liked what he saw).
My favorite scene from the movie is this one:
Now that Jeff is completely infatuated with Ellen, he's going to do what any sane person would do. He's going to start following Ellen everywhere, even when she's with her husband!
While Ellen and her husband are having dinner at a fancy restaurant, jeff gets noticed. She sees him sitting not far away, she apologizes to her husband and goes to see him to ask him what he is doing here and why he is following her!
Jeff tells her he has some questions to ask her. She tells him to follow her, which is perfect, the restaurant overlooks the beach.
The two lovers are then under a wooden bridge near the beach. I don’t know if it’s the fact that he’s at this romantic place, but Jeff very quickly forgets his questions and starts caressing Ellen gently.
Then, Jeff goes down to her waist, lifts up her dress and takes off her lingerie (a kind of silk shorts). In a porn way, we have a close-up camera on her big white ass, now that she’s standing with her ass out. Jeff goes back up and the two start kissing passionately.
Then Jeff lays Ellen down on the sand. She's now in her nightgown. The two begin making love in the missionary position until Jeff ejaculates inside her.
(While her husband is a few meters away having dinner), this scene is really hot.
After that, she decides to go home alone without joining her husband (which is normal given the state Jeff left her in).
While she is taking a shower and washing off all the sand, her husband comes home. He goes into the bathroom and tells her "We missed you" (he wasn’t alone at the restaurant, there were also other people with them).
This time, Michael is not happy; he realizes that she cheated!
(There are rules in hotwifing and cuckolding; it's a complicated world.)
Ellen and her husband then decide to do a reclamation sex:
Reclamation sex is pretty self-explanatory and occurs after the hotwife returns home to her husband and fills him in on all the details about her liaison. The couple will then engage in sexual intercourse as an act of the husband 'reclaiming' his partner.
Meanwhile, Jeff arrives by car (She's completely messed with his head; he can't stop thinking about her), approaches the window of the house and sees the couple making love in the living room on a chair. Jeff doesn’t know how to react.
(He's the lover, he's not going to ask Ellen not to make love to her husband) He has no choice, he can't help but witness this.
Ellen finally notices that there's a creepy man outside spying on them!
Ellen looks at Jeff and throws a smile at him, and decides to be even more intimate with her husband. By sticking out her tongue kissing him even more erotically, she seems even more excited. At that moment, the camera zooms in on Jeff’s face. He has a blank stare; he is more than frustrated.
Jeff decides to hide outside and wait for Ellen’s husband to leave. Once Michael is gone, Jeff knocks at the door. She opens the door for him and says:
"Enjoyed the show." "You were up there, weren't you?"
"He is my husband, what did you expect: adultery and fidelity."
(When a married woman decides to distance herself from her husband, often finding excuses not to make love to him, she is said to be faithful to her lover. Perhaps Jeff was hoping she will do that.)
Jeff tells her: "I didn't expect you to enjoy it so much"
Ellen then approaches Jeff and starts teasing him by telling him that he too had clearly enjoyed it, otherwise he wouldn't have stayed. Jeff pretended to resist, but ended up kissing Ellen passionately.
Then, he pushes her against the stair railing. Ellen undresses him, kneels down and starts sucking his dick (it’s a softcore movie, you don't see anything). Then, she comes back up, and they start kissing. Jeff undresses her in turn revealing Ellen’s small breasts, Jeff then lays her down on the stairs and gets on top of her in a missionary position, then starts fucking her hard.
(It’s simple, the lover and the husband are cuckolds and seem to take pleasure in seeing Ellen in each other’s arms).
That's it for the sex scenes.
In the second part of the movie, we learn that Ellen and her husband did all this to frame Jeff for murder. (Don't ask me why.)
I really loved this movie, but unfortunately, the fact that it's on VHS and in Russian prevented me from fully enjoying it. If only there were an HD version.
I don't know about you, but I find the actress who plays Ellen stunning. I have a weakness for women with big noses.

Plot:

He is indispensable to Gregory, who trusts him implicitly with the management of his estates and with the supervision of the staff. But Tom cares nothing for Gregory’s trust. He has but one aim – to possess.
Tom conceals his loathing for his master beneath a servile facade while stirring rebellion amongst the other servants. He incites them to covet Gregory’s property, to raid his cellar, to exploit his weaknesses, to smoke pot and to deprave themselves.
He has transformed their respect into jealousy, their dignity into selfishness. He satisfies their senses, and everyone has learned to treat him as master.
Soon, he reveals himself to the latest governess, young German girl Beate Krug (Meg Wynn Owen), who is plagued by strange seizures of violence and hallucinations of occult ceremonies led by Tom and involving the death of Gregory’s young son, Edgar.
Beate is finally driven by Tom’s influence to brutalise the children and is dismissed.
Aided by Carlotta (who is easily influenced by the scheming Tom), Tom laces Gregory’s wine with LSD, causing him to experience a terrifying nightmare which destroys his will completely.
Tom can now take control of Swanbrook, the children, Lily and Gregory himself.

Gregory, the young lord of the Swanbrook estate, engages German nanny Beate to care for his children while he pursues a life of debauchery with his mistress Carlotta and their affluent friends. His wife Lily, a touring singer, makes occasional visits. Gregory entrusts all running of the Swanbrook manor house to his menacing butler, Tom, who scorns his weak-willed master's decadent ways and plots to take control. From her interactions with the other servants, Beate comes to realise that Tom is, in many ways, already the true master of Swanbrook.
Tom uses dark magic against Beate, Carlotta and Lily, giving them visions of a Satanic ritual involving the sacrifice of Gregory and Lily's son, Edgar. When Edgar and his sister are found with unexplained injuries, Beate is accused of child abuse and given notice.
Tom passes the visions on to Gregory, whose mind is broken when he pictures Tom sacrificing Edgar. In the closing scenes, Tom, having fully usurped Gregory, changes into his master's attire and greets the returning Lily (who does not question the change) as his lady.

-Lily: Mine, of course.
-Tom: Who? Only as long as you're married. Only as long as you were in this house.
And as long as you're Edgar's mother, you got this on your back, didn't you?

01:19:00 On the appointed day, Tom puts on his master's clothes and goes into his room. He wakes him up and throws coffee in his face. Then he goes to see the children (who are now his children).
He finds Beate, the maid. He tells her he no longer needs her. He walks her to the exit. At that moment, Lily returns from her trip. Tom says, "My lady." He takes her hand and hugs Lily tightly. Lily smiles at him, and the two go home together. End of the movie.
Gregory is going to become the butler and will see Tom having sex with his wife; it's a shame we'll never see that.

Plot

I can confirm there is cheating in it. The series' synopsis couldn't be clearer. However, the show is too trashy for me and not funny. I'll give you an example—you be the judge.
