Synopsis:

Alexandre (José Garcia) and Juliette (Ophélia Kolb) live very comfortably with their young son, Darius, in a large, isolated chalet in the Vosges mountains. One evening, after returning from a trip to the theater, Alexandre accidentally discovers nude photos of Juliette with a lover on a USB drive he found on the floor of his living room. A marital argument ensues, and in a fit of rage, Juliette leaves the house on foot. Alexandre gets in his car, catches up with her, and parks in such a way as to block her path. The argument resumes, with Juliette refusing to get in despite Alexandre's pleas. She climbs over the low wall along the road, but in the high heels she had worn for the theater outing, her balance is precarious. She trips and falls to her death into a ravine. The severe weather that night then washes away her body. Alexandre, who witnessed the accident, is devastated. He plans to go to the police station to explain that his wife's death was accidental, thus proving his innocence. It's also an opportunity for him to reconnect with his eldest daughter, Lison (Capucine Valmary), from a previous marriage. She lives with the guilt of having unintentionally caused the argument between her father and stepmother, since she was the one who searched the contents of the USB drive without knowing what was on it, and who inadvertently left it on the floor when the couple returned home from a night out. Lison wants to defend her father, even though the police investigation seems to be pointing the finger at him.

In this scene, we can see a teenage girl trying on her mother’s dresses. She opens the drawers looking for heels, to try them on too. She has trouble putting on her heels. When she examines what is inside, she discovers a USB key!

Curious, she goes to get her mother’s laptop. While placing the USB drive, she is surprised to discover a naked photo of her mother. The girl smiles (She thinks it’s not a big deal, her mother is a bit naughty. She may have done this for her father.) She keeps looking at the photos, and now she doesn’t smile at all. She sees her mother being hugged by another man.

Suddenly, the headlights of a car. Brighten the room where she is,
The girl panics and starts to click violently on the keyboard. The PC freezes. She removes the USB drive and runs toward her room. The parents arrive and the mother goes to the kitchen. When she returns, her husband shows her the laptop placed on the living room table. (When the girl removed the USB key, the laptop froze on the naked photo of her mother in the company of her lover.) The husband asks her to explain. His wife tells him that she doesn’t understand how he came across these stupid photos. (that’s a very good comeback)

She tells him that everything is over, that it’s nothing at all and that the person isn’t important.

And then comes the question that every man asks: "And you slept with him several times?"

The wife remains silent, confirming that Yes.
