Set in California just after the Korean War. Lee and Muriel are a young couple working to make a life for themselves. Their life begins to be upended when Lee’s gay brother Julius comes to live with them.
Lee and Muriel have sex at 3:00.
Lee plans to build them a home and get married. This future isn’t for Muriel, too straight laced, as she begins secretly gambling on horse races, then befriends a lesbian woman Sandra. She secretly sends money to Julius to bail him out of various scrapes.
Julius has several gay sex scenes throughout the movie.
As Lee shows Muriel the home he wants to build for them, the pressure to conform is too much for her, she starts fucking her lesbian friend.
Muriel is a very selfish woman, doesn’t care if she cheats on and lies to her husband Lee, she just uses him for security and sex, and uses her lesbian girlfriend for naughty excitement and sex.

Muriel and husband Lee visit the beach, have sex on the beach 1:13. Movie cuts to Muriel in bed with Sandra 1:13:30. Tells Sandra she loves Lee, the poor bastard.

Muriel spends an afternoon with Sandra, we see them grooving to the record player, dancing in their underwear 1:33:20. All downhill from here, relationships end left and right…

Three Birthdays (2023, Jane Weinstock, USA)
A story of two professors and their 17 year old daughter, set in 1970, both parents are professors at a professive campus. It's a story of how the sexual revolution affects all three of them.
The daughter loses her virginity to her boyfriend at a motel 09:20. Later she overhears her mother having exhuberent sex with a man in another room. We only hear the mother having sex and later see the mother exiting her boyfriend's car.
The daughter tells her father, but he already knows all about it. See his wife never had a chance to fuck around when a young woman, so embracing her feminist liberation, wife is now making up for lost time. The father is not happy about the wife and her boyfriend, the wife asks him if her wants her to end it... he tells her it's up to her although he hates it. After catching her mother, the daughter hates her mother and treats her very coldly.
One of the reasons for the father's nonchalance is he's screwing one of his grad students. He's kept his affair secret from his wife and, started the affair months before he and his wife opened their marriage.

At this point you'd have to describe their marriage as bad, lies, jealousy and anger abound. Both talk privately about divorce. By opening their marriage, they've ruined it.
Wife's boyfriend meets wife in her office at school, they kiss, he wants more. Her polite 'no' turns into yelling and then pushing him, then throwing him away. He's not happy.
Turns out both husband and wife ended up treating affair partners badly and had bad breakups.
The fun continues as the daughter is shot in the chest at the Kent State protest shootings. Through the stress of this the wife dumps the husband.
There's an epilogue 3 years later, the daughter survives the shooting. The wife and husband are friends and have just started sleeping together again.

There are 4 segments in this movie, the first and fourth segments involve a cheating wife Julia. In segment 1 we meet free spirit sculptor Julia who in the past has been polyamorous but now is newly married (have fun with that hubby). She's visiting family in Melbourne, with husband back in NY. Julia has sex with an old boyfriend. In segment 4 she's just returned to New York. After she and husband have "I missed you" sex, Julia feels the need to confess her romp back in Melbourne. The new hubby knows of Julia's past, and theoretically agreed to an open marriage with Julia, but open marriage is new to him. They established rules she's supposed to let him know ahead of time and get his agreement to fuck another man. But Julia was horny, didn't think of husband at all to get his OK. Her husband finds out real quick what happens when you 'theoretically' agree to let your wife fuck other men. He's crushed.

A middle aged doctor, mother of two teenagers, married, meets a younger man on a flight and begins a torrid affair. Shit hits the fan when she forgets her phone and hubby sees all.
Playing Away by Adele Parks
A woman in her twenties, married only 6 months (!) has an affair with a player. He eventually dumps her, and only phones her up for drunken booty calls. Her husband who has often been out of town as a busy architect, answers the phone on one of these calls. Oh oh. Alternate title for this book: can't turn a ho into a housewife.
The Intermission by Elyssa Friedland
A selfish, manipulative wife of 5 years fast talks her husband into a 6 month separation where she tells him she likely will fuck other men. In her mid 30s she was under a lot of stress and it's almost as if she has a suppressed personality disorder that springs to life from all this stress. She's a piece of work to her husband during this marriage intermission.

Cheat Day by Liv Stratman
A wife carries on an affair for several months, visiting her boyfriend during the day, returning home to her hard working husband each night.
Any Way You Want Me by Lucy Diamond
A stay at home mother with two young kids, has an affair with the husband of her husband's boss. She risks her husband's job and a broken home for her little kids to fuck this guy. Even fucks him in her marital bed.
The Teacher by Gemma Rogers
A 39 year old high school teacher, married for 16 years, with a 15 year old daughter at her school, I don't know if affair is the right word, but fucks an 18 year old student at her school (she said she felt like a teenager again. Jesus). She risked tabloid headlines if she was caught. Deplorable character.
There's a formula for these cheating wife novels written by women: 1) the husband will never revenge cheat on the wife even though the husbands are all handsome successful men, 2) the wife never gets an STD (their boyfriends are just too dreamy), 3) the husband is a doormat and never divorces the wife, always takes her back even if she gets pregnant by her affair partner.
Till We Meet Again (2015)
Young couple Erik and Joanna live together in NY. Erik is quite dependent on Joanna who is bossy and bitchy towards him. Erik buys them a trip to Thailand where the movie takes off (movie's first 30 min is slow, hang in there it gets better).
When they're in Thailand Joanna meets a handsome old friend of hers, is very attracted to him. She pretty much dumps poor Erik. Erik is crushed and leaves on his own, Joanna doesn't seem to care, she vacations with her new boyfriend and fucks him.
But Joanna's and Erik's separate vacations take very different trajectories. Joanna's turns bad, Erik's gets better and better.
Movies's end: Joanna tracks Erik down at this big party where he's having a good time and everybody loves him. It's a great scene, Joanna doesn't get the reception she was expecting from Sad Sack Erik. It's someone else's turn to be crushed.

A Taste of Hunger (2021, Denmark)
A chef is driven to achieve a Michelin star for his restaurant, and thereby neglects his pretty wife. She has an affair with one of their friends. Someone sends a note to the chef that his wife is cheating on him. The confrontation is glorious, ending with him maneuvering her to the door of their apartment, she desperately clings to the door jamb, but he ends up shoving her by her face out the door. He separates from her, she begs forgiveness.

Fathers & Daughters (2015)
Promiscous young woman (Amanda Seyfried) gets a boyfriend (Aaron Paul). She has psychological problems and worries he's going to leave her, she picks up some random in a bar. Boyfriend comes home and finds a condom wrapper on the floor of their bedroom. Confrontation, she's a wet noodle, he leaves her.
Sex scene shows only her upper torso, sex from behind, her face pushed against the wall.
Later, she misses ex-boyfriend badly, and runs to his place to plead to take her back. He opens the door and there's a beautiful woman inside his apartment, oopsie.....

I've recently watched this, I was entertained. I thought it was a cut above most troubled-marriage movies. A surprising number of twists and turns. Recommended. I rented it off of Apple TV.
* SPOILERS *
Tldr - He cheats and confesses. She damn near cheats, she stops when she's down to her underwear. She decides to 'get even' with the husband by leaving him to guess if she fucked the other man.
The suspicious wife had hired a decoy private investigator to test the fidelity of the husband. Unfortunately for the wife, the decoy has had the husband on her 'celebrities I'd like to fuck' list. She's gorgeous and seduces the husband, not caring she promised as a professional PI-decoy to only test the husband.
Meanwhile, the wife is off to Paris to manage the exhibit of an obnoxious young painter with a reputation for seducing married women. When they come back from Paris his new painting is a nude of the wife. Oh oh.
