@rathi i agree with as hurting anyone sentiments would be not a right thing to do so but the Indian aspect or context of the story can be rathi what that guy suggested where the wife is hindu and her lover is muslim you can start with the version where they used to avoid each other and one day he saved his husband like from accident or thugs and goons and soon he became there neighbour and things started i wont comment on your method of writing as i love to read that but it is possible to come up on a theme where wife is hindu and her lover is a muslim
