Sophie gets the wrong target when she shoots the bookseller. A bookseller loved by the whole neighborhood? But in the absence of evidence, will we believe her?
Cheating Notes
Sophie begins an affair with Vincent, whose bookshop sits across the street from her cafe, while in the middle of a divorce from her husband, from whom she has been living separately for the last six months. She has a drink with him in her cafe after hours, and then they dance closely and have sex at his place after (10:04).
Vincent becomes psycho on Sophie fast. A male character informs Sophie that clips of her sex videos (shown to us briefly) are posted on her social media, available for her family and friends to see. In the first clip (20:19), she is in a reverse cowgirl position while having sex with someone off-screen. In the second clip (21:15), she is bent over with her arm extended toward the bed to support her weight, while someone off-screen is taking her from behind. She moans hard and passionately in both clips. She recognizes the bedroom in the clips as Vincent's, so she immediately confronts him across the street and slaps him.
We see a longer version of the first clip when Sophie presents it to the cops at the police station (28:33). It is longer and provides a clearer view of Sophie and her bouncing boobs as she humps Vincent in a reverse cowgirl position. A lady cop behind her mocks her, imitating her movement and moans as her sex video plays.
We see a third clip of Sophie's sex video when her female chef views it on her phone (43:41). In it, she lies on the bed; her upper body is visible as it moves up and down while someone off-screen engages with her lower body. The customers in her cafe have received the clip as well; they laugh at her whenever her back is turned while she serves them.
One of Sophie’s customers gropes her while she is serving his table, a direct result of him looking down on her after seeing her sex video (49:07). When he and his friends laugh at her, she explodes and confronts him, taking her shirt off, revealing her black bra, and challenging him to do something sexual to her. She then addresses the entire restaurant, then comes back to the groper and spits on his face.
Sophie visits a porn site and sees thumbnails of her sex videos on it (55:57). She also searches for her name on a search engine, and porn sites with her sex videos with thumbnails are the top results.
We see Sophie's son's friend watching her sex video, particularly the third clip, on his phone (1:15:32). This time, we see Sophie's full body and the body (excluding the head) of the guy who is screwing her.
Summary
The wife's sex videos are hot, especially because they are shown to us in a progressive manner, e.g., we only see glimpses of them initially, and then we see more as the movie progresses.
