No End (1985) Original title: Bez konca

www.imdb.com/title/tt0086961/

Plot:

Antek, a lawyer, died a few days ago. He now sees the world of the living from afar and observes what he left behind: his wife, Urszula.

Cast:

Jerzy Radziwilowicz: Antek Zyro

Grazyna Szapolowska: Urszula Zyro

Cheating Notes:

The movie opens in a large Warsaw cemetery. Then comes Antek Zyro's (Jerzy Radziwiłowicz) monologue to the camera. He says softly that he has been dead for four days and that, despite his sudden death, he is still there, watching over his family: his wife, Urszula (Grażyna Szapołowska), and his son, Jacek.

Antek discovers in a few weeks the unwavering love his wife has for him. Daily life had perhaps erased the evidence.

However, Antek will also have to watch his wife making love with another man, even if he prefers not to be there. when it happens!

One evening, Urszula is at the bar having a drink. She turns around and spots a young man who writes on an envelope. The man looks at her in turn and raises his glass to drink a toast. Urszula gives him a friendly smile.

The young man takes that courteous smile for an invitation. gets up and sits at her table!, then asks her if he can buy her a drink. Urszula accepts.

The young man, observes a photo who was in the table, takes it and contemplates it. He asks her, what is it?

She tells him, it’s a vacation photo (the photo shows a woman in a swimsuit, surrounded by men. It is unknown if it is Urszula who is in this photo.)

The man stares at the photo for a moment and says to her: "50"

Urszula, surprised, asks him: "50 what?"

The man replies to her: 50 dollars. Urszula smiles, takes a short moment to think and says: "OK!" (the man just took her for a prostitute).

In the next scene, Urszula is in a bathroom. She takes off her blouse to get naked!
Her husband stands behind her, looking at her helplessly.
(he is dead but only he can see her).
She goes past him, Her husband seems upset (we feel him).
An anguishing music begins to come into play.

(I really like this music because it puts us a bit in the shoes of her husband who has to watch that.)

Urszula does not disappoint and makes love to this young man exactly as expected of a widow, that is to say she is hungry. We then watch a playful sex scene.

After finishing, Urszula takes a break and goes to the bathroom. The young man seizes the opportunity to put money in her wallet. Urszula exits the restroom and gets dressed.

The man suggests that she come to dinner with him. She refuses and leaves.

Despite the fact that Urszula was a widow, she kept her ring, which should have deterred this man from flirting with her and confusing her with a prostitute, but apparently not.
Besides, we don’t know why she didn’t slap him or tell him no. It’s possible that she liked being taken for a whore !

Why am I talking about this movie here when Urszula is a widow?

This movie still deals with cuckolding with the character of Antek who is present in the room during the lovemaking. and also there is the fantasy of the prostitute Urszula is flattered that someone takes her for one!

I'm now going to spoil the end of this movie:

Spoiler
Urszula leaves her son with her mother-in-law, and at home, she empties the trash, brings in the milk bottle, brushes her teeth, and puts on her nice black sweater, as if for a date. Then she seals the vents, tapes her mouth shut, and turns on the oven gas. Black, long black, black hole? The last scene of the movie is blurry. Antek welcomes Urszula; their silhouettes cross a clearing; they walk side by side.

This might explain why she slept with that man.
