Weekly magazine Reporter Sei Hiraizumi interviews a wife who killed her husband. She tells him events from her life in flashbacks, from the time she became a street prostitute when her husband started working night shifts.
With her dreams of buying a house, buying a car and even having children dashed, Ryoko, a full-time housewife, became a prostitute while standing in the streets at night, waiting for her husband to come home from his night shifts. Eventually, a guy named Shinji became her lover.
Five times a day, she was doing it with men in the middle of the night and then with her husband in the morning.
Hiraizumi tries to understand Yoko's actions and thoughts within his own common sense.
Her husband beat her up, which was the motive for the murder.
Her lover Shinji didn't want to get involved in a murder case.
