Story of a 40 something yr old housewife, Suze, who has a dull, childless, unfulfilled marriage with her husband, Michael. Suze has a best friend, Sarah, also a middle aged woman with a family, but Sarah also gave a k..d up for adoption 20 yrs ago.
Suze needs a change and so embarks on a road trip by herself for a few weeks.
She goes to a seaside town and is chilling, meeting the locals, trying to figure out her life. This is a leisurely paced film featuring quirky locals in the seaside town. BUT THEN springs some whopper twists on the viewer....

Twist 1: She sees her husband also at this seaside town, in company with a good looking 20 yr old man, smiles and lots of hugs. Michael phones her and lies he's back at home. Is her husband having a gay affair?
Twist 2: Michael is now back at home. Suze meets the young man who was with her husband, Gabriel, meets him at the pool then local talent show. They end up on the beach, drinking, smoking pot, Gabriel chances a gentle kiss on Suze. She's shocked but doesn't slap him. Gabriel says let's go for a swim, runs to the beach, Suze follows him. Next morning Suze wakes up in bed, and queries Michael? (her husband) Nope it's Gabriel looking sexy just coming out of the shower dressed in a towel.

Twist 3: Suze is back at home. both she and Michael say they need to tell each other something (Suze was going to say she cheated). But Michael talks over her. Tells her 20 years ago he had a one night drunken fling and now has a 20 year old son. Suze is pissed! Michael says I'd like you to meet someone, my son. Jesus Christ it's Gabriel. Neither Gabriel nor Suze let on they screwed back in the seaside town. Michael has Gabriel live with them for a while.
Twist 4: Now 46 days later. Suze is doing housework, pauses and lovingly touches her belly. Oh oh. Reads Gabriel's diary he says never met his mother but knows her name is Sarah. Michael comes home with Gabriel. Suze phones her best friend Sarah, puts her on speaker.
Springs on everyone "I'm pregnant". Suze and Michael haven't had sex for a year. Michael is WTF? Suze: I just wanted to congratulate you both Sarah and Michael. Say hello Sarah to your son Gabriel.
And then: Sarah I'm pregnant by your son Gabriel, I'm sure you and Michael will make excellent grandparents.
