First of all, the sex scenes are present in episodes 06, 08 and 09, and the cheating takes place in episode 08, and not in the finale, as mentioned by Adryano.
If you intend to watch the series start with episode 05, what happens before is not really exciting.

To summarize:
Colonel Gabriel and Elaine already know each other. (We don't know what kind of relationship these two have). Gabriel asks Elaine to seduce the pastor, to have sex with him and to film their sexual intercourse in order to blackmail him!
In episode 9, while Gabriel and Elaine are lying in bed, Elaine shows him the video she recorded. the two start making fun of Anderson when they see the video!
This takes place after the famous scene that Adryano mentioned.
