Verônika com K (2026) english: Verônika with a K

Behind the meteoric career of a brilliant lawyer and a seemingly well-ordered life far from the favela, secrets and past traumas may surface, triggering a true whirlwind. It is against this backdrop of high tension, legal intrigue, and power struggles that *Verônika com K*—a new Globoplay Original series set in the *Arcanjo Renegado* universe—unfolds.

The series premieres on the streaming platform on October 22, with all eight episodes released at once.

Cheating Notes:

I’ve just finished watching all 8 episodes—unfortunately, there’s no cheating.
There aren’t any married women among the supporting characters, either.
I’ll keep this brief.

I’ll just focus on the main character so you can get a general idea:

Roberta Rodrigues is Verônika:

A confident, bold, and fearless criminal defense attorney, Verônika never takes an insult lying down and refuses to lose. Raised in the Morro do São Jerônimo favela, she moved to the Baixada Fluminense region with her mother following a family tragedy, vowing never to set foot in the favela again. She experienced a rapid and brilliant rise as a protégé of the influential lawyer Schneider (Marcelo Torreão), and in the courtroom, she engages in heated duels with prosecutor André Fraga (Marcelo Serrado). However, her career and personal life are shaken when her mentor is arrested; meanwhile, secrets from her past threaten her reputation as she receives an offer to defend the drug trafficker Rodriguinho (Dhério Chagas).

This is the story of three teenage friends—Veronika, Rodriguinho, and Gordo—who, 20 years later, have taken very different paths: Veronika has become a lawyer, Rodriguinho a drug kingpin, and Gordo a police officer. (Veronika ends up Screwing them both.)

Veronika is a real slut who also screws André, a public prosecutor.

If you want to see dialogues that end in sex, you won’t be disappointed.

There are other characters— my favorite is Marina, the boss of Gordo the police officer;

She sleeps with him, and in private, she sees the power dynamic between them flip.

Personally, I didn't feel like I wasted my time watching this series, and I thank (@gollum) for sharing it.

Unfortunately, as I mentioned earlier, there is no actual cheating involved.

However, Roberta Rodrigues *is* indeed cuckolding her real-life husband
by filming these steamy scenes—(nothing too extreme, though), and I can see why (@gollum) was tempted to share the series here.

(Brazilian actress Roberta Rodrigues has been married to businessman Guilherme Guimarães since 2023.)

Arcanjo Renegado (2020– )

I don’t know if Adryano speaks Portuguese, but I will complete what he said
First of all, the sex scenes are present in episodes 06, 08 and 09, and the cheating takes place in episode 08, and not in the finale, as mentioned by Adryano.

If you intend to watch the series start with episode 05, what happens before is not really exciting.

I found these summaries that describe the characters. We have a better understanding of what is happening:

Paloma Bernardi plays Elaine

She is a simple woman who begins attending Pastor Anderson’s church to ease the burden of her own life. Little by little, she grows closer to him, sharing her stories of loneliness and abuse, and, as time goes on, she ends up becoming involved with the pastor.

Leonardo Bricio plays Gabriel

His struggle to oust Manuela from power is never-ending. After nearly killing Bishop Cristóvão, Gabriel becomes the mastermind behind Antônio’s campaign for state governor. He rallies the political and economic forces that once supported Custódio to back Antônio, pouring vast sums of money into the lieutenant governor’s campaign.

Emilio Orciollo Netto plays Anderson

With Bishop Cristóvão’s departure from the scene, Anderson becomes one of the most prominent evangelical leaders in Rio de Janeiro, but despite his ability to influence his congregation, he doesn’t want to get involved with politicians. For this reason, he refuses to endorse any candidate. His life as a pastor is going well, and he even finds a new love, whom he plans to marry. The problem is that Anderson’s future wife is not who he thinks she is.

To summarize:

Colonel Gabriel and Elaine already know each other. (We don't know what kind of relationship these two have). Gabriel asks Elaine to seduce the pastor, to have sex with him and to film their sexual intercourse in order to blackmail him!

In episode 9, while Gabriel and Elaine are lying in bed, Elaine shows him the video she recorded. the two start making fun of Anderson when they see the video!
This takes place after the famous scene that Adryano mentioned.

"Elaine: Are you ready?

What is it?

I'm going to send you a video. Send it over. I think you'll like it.

Gabriel: Holy shit! Man, you really know how to screw, don't you?

Tell me, huh? Nice send-off—she's so hot. And look at that.

What's this?

He proposed. Ah, you’re messing with me.

No, no, no, no, go on, go on. Are you going to ask me to be the best man?

Really? Seriously, damn? What do I do? Ah, just go with it while you can.

Keep filming everything. And try to convince him to support Antônio.

Elaine: Am I going to hell?

Gabriel: Check your phone. See if it’s worth going to hell or not."

(Elaine is probably a prostitute because she does it for the money)

Now, it’s up to you to determine if this is cheating.
Elaine is now officially engaged to the pastor. We’ll see what happens in season 5.
