Plot - In a small, tightly-knit Danish town, Elise is a beautiful, captivating woman married to Henry, the reliable town physician. Though she presents the face of a devoted mother and wife on the surface, Elise harbor a deep, unyielding desire for passion that her routine domestic life cannot satisfy. Through a series of twist boundaries and unexpected encounters, she finds herself deeply entangled with two other prominent men in town: William, a dashing captain of the Dragoons, and the local vicar.
