Synopsis:

Bill Pullman, alias Mike Max, is a famous Hollywood producer whose films on violence have made his fame. Absorbed in his job, he neglects his wife, the delicious Andie MacDowell, who is languishing in her villa in Los Angeles.

Obsessed by the cameras that punctuate his life, Mike Max seems to live in an impersonal world where human feelings occupy only a tiny place. Until the day when he is threatened with death by two second-rate thugs. Barely saved, he is 'adopted' by a family
of Mexican gardeners, and thus finds its joy of living far from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood society. However, it soon turns out the two men have been shot, Max has escaped and now is accused of killing them.

Cheating Notes:

Paige, without hearing from her husband, thinks he is dead or missing. She continues to lead her life and replace him within his company. Mike, convinced that someone intends to k..l him, chooses not to go home, but to hide. Going to his place only at night to pick up things from his office. Without being spotted by his wife.

One day, trying to break into his house as usual, he is surprised by his wife who threatens him with a gun! Mike will then try to explain to her the reason why he hasn’t given her any news, but she doesn’t want to hear anything

While the two are chatting, Mike hears a man singing. It’s Six O One, The black man we see at the beginning talking with him during a video conference.

It seems he’s banging his wife. Now we know why Paige was awake. Mike is surprised!

Paige announces to him that she is truly going to leave and that she will take the house and the company! Mike is resigning himself. Paige will therefore ask him if he desires something. It’s the right time to ask her. Mike wishes to get her robe!

Paige will then give him one last striptease and throw the robe at him. Mike grabs the robe and sniffs it!

then he approaches her near her chest. Paige points the gun at his head, Mike gives her a kiss on the chest, then he leaves. When it came time to flee, Paige shot him, but she didn’t seem to aim at him, maybe she doesn’t know how to shoot!

There is a role reversal here:

Mike, the husband, finds himself a stranger in his own house. He becomes an intruder. (at this point in the story, he is just presumed dead. His wife did not wait long to replace him. That doesn’t explain why she is threatening him with a weapon. She should, on the contrary, be happy to see him!)

Six O One the lover replaces him as her man.

Paige asks Six O One to put on some music so he doesn't hear them, as if she were cheating on him with Mike, and she seems to enjoy getting undressed for him.

Here is a dialogue to illustrate:

"Six O One: Say, baby. Baby, you down there?

Paige: I'm coming.

Paige: You want some water?

Six O One: I want you, baby.

Paige:You got it.

Paige: I keep the company and the house. If there's anything specific you want, you let me know now.

Mike: The robe.

Paige: What?

Mike: I want your robe.

Paige: If you think I'm gonna...

Paige: Then you'll leave?

Mike: That's the deal.

Six O One: Say, baby, you all right?

Paige: Yeah!

Paige: I'm coming! Oh, could you put some music on?

Mike: First time I've seen it with a woman with a gun who takes her clothes off. I like it.

Paige: Now everybody has what they want."

Paige seems to have another lover, but I’m not sure. When Paige receives three men in her home to discuss work, one of them approaches her, Brian (Peter Horton),
gives her a kiss close to her mouth and stands behind her to introduce the other two!
