Stefan is a well respected doctor. Together with his fiancée Miriam, he visits his father in South Africa on the occasion of his birthday. Miriam meets a former friend of Stefan’s, Jo . Jo is a bishop who is committed to helping the slum dwellers. As the two get closer, Miriam falls in love.
