Cheating Scenes in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970)
Unlike Valley of the Dolls, Beyond the Valley of the Dolls has more nudity in it so it’s better in that regard.
Kelly (guitars), Casey (vocalist and leader) and Petronella (drummer, black chick) are in an all-girls’ band. Their manager is Harris, who is also Casey’s boyfriend.
Casey cheats on Harris, or is she swinging?
The girls attend a party of Z-man, a famous rock band manager and an important figure in Holywood social circle. Z-man takes a liking to Casey and gives her a tour of his house, including his bedroom. In at least two of the rooms they go to, there seems to be always sexual activity involving other party goers.
Harris comes looking for Casey and when he finds her, she is holding Z-man’s hand and standing very close in front of him. He announces out loud if he is interrupting something. Casey releases Z-man’s hand. She introduces Harris to Z-man but stops herself from saying he is her boyfriend. She introduces him as their manager instead.
It turns out Z-man is the least of Harris’ problem because he is actually gay, or at least bisexual. But this early scene shows how Casey is very open for cheating, especially when it involves important persons.
Now Lance Rocke, a handsome stud with bedroom eyes, is the one that Casey actually cheated with. One time, after their band’s show, Casey’s boyfriend Harris enters her dressing room and talks to her. He says he doesn’t want to go to Z-man’s party because of jealousy and the fact that Z-man is seemingly taking over as the band’s manager.
Casey doesn’t listen to him and still decides she will go to the party and advises him to go as well. Then she leaves him when Z-man calls her from outside. When she comes out, she meets Lance. Lance introduces himself and then ditches the broad he is with to go with Casey to the party.
Scenes from the party are not even shown. The next scene we see of Casey and Lance is them naked on his bed and they just finished having sex. Harris scores that night too, with a porn star who has taken an interest in him, but he really doesn’t enjoy it as he wants Casey.
Casey bangs a lawyer
There is this lawyer whom Casey does not actually like because he’s trying to deprive her of her inheritance money. She bangs him to try to gain his favor. Lance (who’s interested in her money) even lends his place to her so that she can bring and fuck the lawyer there.
Petronella cheats with a heavyweight boxing champion
Petronella, the black chick drummer, meets Emerson at the first Z-man’s party. Emerson works as a waiter at the party but is also studying to become a lawyer. They become a couple and live in one roof together.
During another party of Z-man’s, Petronella meets a heavyweight boxing champion named Randy. He is very alpha, charming and aggressive, and hence very attractive. He actually goes to the party shirtless, that’s how confident he is. He flirts with Petronella. She flirts back and dances with him.
Later, Petronella brings him to the place where she and her boyfriend lives and fucks him. In the morning, Emerson arrives from studying overnight and finds his girlfriend and Randy still naked on the bed. A physical altercation ensues. Emerson does not break up with Petronella.
Randy comes back to the couple’s place one morning and starts acting like a caveman alpha male, trying to cuckold Emerson and covet Petronella. He tells Petronella to fix him breakfast and tells Emerson to not get in the way. He tries to kiss Petronella but she refuses. Another physical altercation ensues. A wasted opportunity for a cuckolding scene on this one.
