Cheating Scenes in Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead (2007)
Hank (Ethan Hawke) leaves his workplace and tells their desk secretary that he has an appointment and will be back later. The secretary remarks that of course, he will go out today because it’s Thursday, telling us that Hank regularly does this on Thursdays.
When Hank reaches his place, Gina (Marisa Tomei) is waiting for him at the entrance of his apartment building. Gina is the wife of his older brother Andy (Philip Seymour Hoffman).
We don’t see them fuck, but we see both of them on the bed after they did it. Hank is fully naked and lying face down while Gina is on her panties and sitting down.
Hank is convincing Gina to elope with him but Gina does not want to because he’s got a lot of problems, like child support and mortgage. She says they have a good thing going, that they have a really good time in bed and she doesn’t ask for anything, so he should just enjoy it without complicating things. Hank says he loves her so he wants more than that.
Gina looks at Hank seductively and asks him if she can help him to seconds or does he really have to get back to his office. They start to kiss but like their ‘firsts’, we don’t get to see their ‘seconds’ as well.

After a funeral, Andy and Gina are inside the house of Charles (Andy and Hank’s father). Gina gets a call from Hank who is outside. Of course, that would be inappropriate because why would Hank be calling his brother’s wife? So Gina tells Hank she can’t talk right now as Andy passes her by.

Later in the movie, Gina has her things packed up and she is ready to go. She tells Andy that things aren’t just working between them. Then she confesses that she is having an affair.
Andy asks her what she means because, at this point, a lot of things are going inside Andy’s mind so his perception is kind of slow. Gina gives it to him straight and tells him that she’s fucking another guy. That every Thursday, she and Andy’s brother, Hank, get together and fuck. Not only that, she says Hank loves her and still finds her attractive.
Andy’s reaction is lukewarm because he’s got other problems to worry about, so Gina gets more frustrated and continues leaving.
Verdict
Marisa Tomei’s gym-toned body is great, but her age is showing a bit in her face already. We get to see her in her panties here, and I gotta admit, those are some great curves on her. We also see her get doggy styled by her husband, but not her lover.
