Promising fund manager Jae-hoon is at the brink of losing everything when his company goes bankrupt. Overwhelmed by despair, he takes an impulsive trip to Australia where his wife and son live. As his trip nears its unexpected end, Jae-hoon gets a chance to look back on his life.
Cheating Notes
A man travels from Korea to Australia to visit his wife and son. He knocks on the door of his wife's place but no one answers. He goes to the backyard and finds his wife hanging out with her neighbor (a white guy whose wife is in the hospital), smoking joint with him and having fun (18:56). He leaves without making his presence known.
The man watches from a distance as his wife, his son, the neighbor and his daughter enjoy a day at the beach (40:21).
From outside his wife's place, the man sees the neighbor carry his sleeping son inside, and the neighbor and his wife holding hands , looking at each other with longing, and hugging as the neighbor is about to leave (1:07:59). Then, in the next scene, he sees them kiss through a window, with the man's shirt off and only his undershirt remains, indicating that they are going to have implied sex.
