Cheating Notes
The married French couple meets the black American soldier at the bar they own (47:36). The soldier clearly has the hots for the wife, and maybe the reverse is true, too. He starts hanging out with them after that night, like going to a picnic with them and her son, etc.
While in a picnic, the husband looks at his wife and then at the soldier while he is lying down on a picnic cloth between them, indicating that he might have gay/bisexual tendencies (55:00).
With only the two of them at the bar, the soldier dedicates a song for the wife (58:21).
