Detective Oh Se Geun is a divorced man who is self-confident, selfish, and lonely. He embezzles a lump sum in conspiracy with the nightclub managers. He knows the internal investigation targeted on him is underway, but he is confident that he will not be caught. Entering his lonely life is Eun-young (Kang). She does not have a satisfactory marriage and longs for freedom and wealth. She seduces him and at a carefully chosen time plays her card "I want you to kill my husband..." With that deadly request, the game begins.
Cheating Notes
The wife and the detective come across each other at a bar when he accidentally bumps into her. They then have a traffic altercation outside the bar as she is leaving the premises. They meet a few days later to resolve the traffic incident, in which the aggressive detective tries to kiss the wife. She rejects him but it's not exactly a hard kind of rejection. Maybe she also kinda likes him already but his attempt is too early and that means reciprocating it could mean that she's an easy slut.
The detective tries to chase the wife on the road after their meeting, calling her on her cellphone and telling her to stop and acknowledge him. Because of this, the detective gets into a traffic altercation and subsequently a physical fight with some truck drivers. The wife eventually stops and talks to him, handing him back the handkerchief that he gave her earlier. He takes this chance to caress her hand as she hands him the hanky. She moves her hand away, but when she sees that his hand needs medical attention, she takes him home to tend to it.
While the wife tends to the detective's wound at her place, he tries to kiss her again. She resists initially and then finally gives in. She makes out with him and fucks him in the bedroom. When he is about to leave after their lovemaking, she calls him back, makes out with him again, and has an implied second round of sex with him.
A few days later, the wife comes to the detective and has sex with him in his apartment. She's more aggressive here, a far cry from when she was still timidly resisting his early advances.
As if to play a game with him, the wife introduces the detective to her husband and she lets him come along with them to watch a musical play. The detective kind of gets mad with the wife after that but they easily kiss and makeup and have sex (after-sex dialog only).
After the detective has killed the husband, he and the wife have sex one more time.
