A modern remake of Renoir's classic film. Aix-en-Provence, a spring night. Christian Lespinglet, an over-indebted gallery owner, rescues a homeless man, Boudu, from the waters of a canal who was trying to drown himself. Heroic to his detriment, he brings him home, for a few hours only... The incongruous arrival of Boudu will act like a mad dog in the game of skittles that is Christian's life...
Cheating Notes
At the beginning of the film, the gallery owner brings his female assistant to the side of a canal to persuade her to become his mistress. He is forceful while she is resistant, though not exactly closed to the idea. They are interrupted by Boudu, a drowning homeless man, and they rescue him and the gallery owner brings him home.
After some plot development, Boudu screws the gallery owner's wife (1:07:46, 1:13:45). She rides him, but the scenes are non-explicit and non-nude.
The gallery owner gives his assistant a ring (maybe he's proposing) and a plane ticket and kisses her (1:14:31). She is only half-resisting now, maybe seriously considering to become his mistress.
The gallery owner's assistant decides to have sex with Boudu (1:19:07). We get some sex action and nudity.
