The film begins with students conducting surveys on the street about the social life of housewives. The answers given are presented as non-consecutive episodic films during the plot. A neglected housewife is shown in a desperate search for an affair. Later it is shown how a married female teacher falls in love with one of her own students or how a young woman from the GDR seduces the men in West Germany with her charms. The sexual practice of role-playing is also discussed using the example of a married couple. So the wife must behave and dress her husband like a prostitute to encourage sex.
