Murakami, a novelist, and his much younger wife Shino live quietly in a secluded mansion. Murakami, who is blind and physically disabled, is fo...d to live in a wheelchair. They are visited by two editors, Yusuke and his girlfriend Satomi.
During their first dinner together, Yusuke stares at Shino absently, admiring her beauty (5:42). Satomi steps on his foot to bring him back to his senses.
While they are on the seashore, Shino sucks the bl..d on Yusuke's finger when it accidentally gets cut by a knife (19:36).
Shino and Yusuke meet in the cave, her sanctuary when she gets scared of thunderstorms and such (42:15). As she turns to leave, he grabs her and initially forces himself upon her. She stops resisting and seductively sucks his finger, only to suddenly bite down when his other hand reaches for her backside. He grimaces and pulls away in pain, while she flashes a mischievous smile before walking out of the cave.
During dinner, Shino silently runs her hand along Yusuke’s jeans, moving from his thigh toward his crotch, in front of her blind husband (45:46). She momentarily pauses when Murakami begins to speak, only to take Yusuke’s hand and guide it to her breasts while her husband continues his story. The two begin making out, and Yusuke reaches beneath her skirt to touch her intimately.
They continue making out, until Satomi comes in and interrupts them. She asks Murakami if he'd like to know what his wife is doing in front of him. Murakami replies in parables, suggesting he may have an idea and Satomi doesn't need to tell him.
Yusuke peeks into the couple’s bedroom and watches as Shino kisses Murakami’s back after administering his medicine (52:17).
Yusuke confronts Shino near the seashore, demanding to know why she is leading him on but not really letting him hit (59:07). After a dramatic talk, they make out.
Murakami, Shino and Yusuke have a confrontation in the living room. Murakami talks about the past, about how he and Shino became together after the disaster, etc. Shino starts having sex with Yusuke in front of her husband (1:03:28). Murakami suffers a stroke and before he dies, we learn something shocking about their relationship.
Between the two female leads, only Satomi gets naked in the film, which is a shame.
