A woman living on a farm is experiencing emotional exhaustion as she deals with her daily living routines (too much work, no vacation, no uplifting projects). She is torn between two men: her husband whom she loves but with whom she is only able to share her everyday problems or work motivation issues and their adopted son of twenty who represents in her eyes a possible way forward.
Cheating Notes
Nathalie and her husband Patrick adopted Jean-Francois after his father died and the couple bought their farmland. Jean-Francois, who has been in love with Nathalie since he was 13, is now a handsome young man.
Jean-Francois confesses to Nathalie that he loves her while she is hanging clothes (01:29). He kisses her but she pulls away from him.
Jean-Francois hooks up with Karine, a hot new worker at their farm. He has sex with her (22:00, nude). It is the best sex scene in the film. Nathalie looks like she's getting more jealous as she sees the two young people's relationship develop.
Elated that Jean-Francois has solved the emergency problem at the chicken coop, Nathalie lets him kiss her and she has sex with him in the haystack (33:20, non-nude).
Nathalie's husband tries to have sex with her but she rejects him (1:08:36), and then she comes to Jean-Francois in the barn to have sex with him instead. Her husband follows her to the barn and catches her making out with Jean-Francois. A confrontation ensues.
