The story of a woman who raises passion and subsequent rage between two brothers. The inhabitants of the nearby village watch their lives from far away. The only witness to their undistinguished, hidden and suddenly awakened love, which drives them hopelessly to a tragic end, is the beautiful nature surrounding the Danube backwaters.
Cheating Notes
The woman comes into the lives of the two brothers in a village when she boards at their place. She makes a move on the older brother and has sex with him in the woods (against a tree). He then proposes to her in front of the younger brother and an old friend of the brothers. She says yes, and the younger brother looks jealous and envious because he has also fallen for her, but still, he congratulates them.
At the reception on the night of the wedding, the young brother dances with his older brother's bride and then brings her behind the house, away from the crowd, and tries to kiss her. She rejects her and their lips don't even touch and he stops his advance when the brothers' old friend comes to them because he saw the younger brother pull the bride away earlier and was worried.
Did the younger brother fuck the bride the morning after?
Around dawn, the older brother, along with the other guests, is passed-out drunk at the table on the front porch. The younger brother then enters the house, where the bride was already inside. The scene cuts off to the morning a little later that day, where we see the older brother wake up, enter his younger brother's bedroom and see him sleeping with his clothes on. He then goes outside to do something and when he comes back, his brother is not in his room. He hears the sound of a door closing coming from his own bedroom. He checks out his bedroom and only sees his wife inside. He even looks under the bed but he doesn't find his younger brother there. He comes outside and drinks coffee on the front porch. When he comes back, he finds his younger brother in his own bedroom but now he's fully naked. So did his younger brother fuck his bride while he was on the front porch?
Sometime later, the wife now has a baby. We see the younger brother play with the baby while the wife happily looks on. Meanwhile, the wife is treating her husband like shit and won't even have sex with him. One time, before the brothers travel somewhere with their truck, the wife caresses the younger brother's face but she also pulls it away fast when he tries to hold it. All of these signs seem to indicate that the younger brother may really have fucked the wife that morning after her wedding and the baby could also be his.
Later, the older brother drowns and dies while fish hunting with the younger brother in a swamp. The younger brother feels guilty about it. Sometime after that, he fucks the widow in the bathroom (dark scene). He is kinda forcing himself on her and she is kinda resisting. He then kills himself sometime after that. A few years later, the widow has now two kids, who could both be fathered by the younger brother.
