Tennessine follows Arash, who against his family’s wishes, arrives in Australia to reunite with the love of his life, the elusive Nazanin. While the couple spends a romantic weekend in a cabin in the woods, the arrival of Nasser, Nazanin’s supervisor, leads Arash to a chain of self-destructive events.
Cheating Notes
Arash goes to Australia to reunite with his girlfriend, Nazanin. The latter takes her to a remote cabin, apparently owned by her teacher/supervisor, Nasser.
Arash and Nazanin get into the bathtub together in the cabin (17:10, 34:35), and Nazanin gives Arash a sort of reverse strip show (20:13).
Arash notices stuff in the house that may suggest that Nazanin and Nasser (who has a wife) are having an affair, but it's not conclusive. Maybe it's just his jealousy. One of them is a note pinned down by a bottle of perfume that says: For my queen: beauty is your least interesting characteristic.
Nasser then arrives at the cabin. Arash feels uncomfortable/jealous as he watches Nazanin and Nasser interact, like when they hug, or sit together on the couch and hold hands when Nasser is emphasizing a point in his story, etc.
Arash wakes up in the morning and finds that Nazanin and Nasser are not in the cabin. He calls Nazanin's phone and his call goes directly into her voicemail. Where could they have gone and what are they doing that Nazanin can't be bothered to answer her phone? He searches through the house and discovers a couple of semi-nude photos of a woman without her head shown. In one of the photos, the hands of a man are embracing her from behind. Could the woman be Nazanin? I am not sure.
As Nasser and Arash watch Nazanin take her clothes off, leaving her red lacy two-piece underwear on, to take a dip on a lake (1:06:52), Arash asks Nasser if he is close to his other students, and if he also brings them to his cabin like he did with Nazanin. He doesn't get an answer.

In the climactic part (1:12:11), Nazanin starts dancing sensually in front of the two men in a campfire. Then, she takes Arash's hand and dances with him first. Then, she pushes him gently off her, comes to Nasser and dances with him next. Arash looks in disbelief as the bodies and hands of the two start intertwining with each other and finally, as they begin making out.
Summary
Intense and a slow burn.
