Hyo-sup is a second-class writer whose sole comfort is to write and to love Bo-kyung, a married woman. Bo-kyung, a housewife in her 30s, believes she can realize her previous aspirations and tries to escape from her life with Hyo-sup.
Weon-yeong (Eun-suk Cho), who works as a motorcycle delivery girl, and Su (In-kwon Kim), a barber, live a quiet existence in a seaside house near Busan. He is impotent, but she seems happy to be sexually serviced by him in other ways. Enter macho drifter Byeong-ho (Jung-hyun Kim), Su’s childhood friend, who soon starts getting it on more conventionally with Weon-yeong and awakens a rebel in the compliant young woman.
