Cheating Scenes in the movie Forbidden Homework (1992)
A young guy needs to make a short film for his class and he invites a middle-aged woman named Maria and a certain guy named Antonio to act on his project. He will be doing the shoot on a rooftop.
Maria arrives first on the rooftop. She and the young guy talk about the film, his parents, and aunt, etc. Apparently, she is an actress in her younger days. Also, we learn that she became a widow a few years ago and that she and the young guy had a thing one year ago during a party, but she didn’t call him again after that. He, however, still fancies her, and uses the film as an excuse to be with her.
While Antonio hasn’t arrived yet, they practice some scenes for the film together. These include a stripteasing scene and also a sex scene. Because of that scene and their flirtations before it, they get aroused and actually make out for real and have sex with their clothes on. The young guy also confesses that he lied about Antonio coming and his plan all along is to seduce her while in the process of filming.
The Plot Twist
SPOILER ALERT!! Do not read below if you don’t want spoilers. I suggest you watch the movie to know what the plot twist is for maximum enjoyment.
Apparently, it is revealed in the latter part of the movie that Maria is actually the real mother of the young guy and that the camera was rolling the moment she set foot on the rooftop. Yes, the young guy’s film actually includes their talk, their flirtations, their supposed practices of the scenes, and Maria was just acting as a family friend, although it is true in real life that she was a former actress. Maria also did become a widow (her first husband is the young guy’s father) but she is now married to her second husband.
After their shoot is done, Maria tells her son that they have to destroy the tape because of their sex scenes that she thinks were inappropriate because they are mother and son. She tells him that they have taped more than what they planned. But she does tell him that tonight, it feels like his father was reborn, meaning maybe she was thinking of her first husband when she is making out and having simulated sex with the son. And about the simulated sex, it isn’t clear but maybe the son really penetrated her, but I’m just speculating.
The son refuses to destroy the tape, so his mom accuses him that maybe it’s all an excuse so that he can have his way sexually with her (his own mom). While they are fighting over the tape, they don’t notice that Maria’s daughter from her current husband (the young guy’s half-sister) has arrived and is watching them fight. The husband follows a few seconds later. Maria tells them to go down and she will follow and fix them supper.
A little later, Maria burns the tape in the kitchen sink. The son, who is all packed up and is about to leave their home, sees her doing it. He pulls Maria towards him and kisses her in the mouth. Maria kisses back, they make out, then he leaves.
Maria’s husband asks her what happened between them two and what scenes they did. Maria doesn’t tell her husband that she did sex scenes with her son. Or more importantly, that she made out with him for real when he was about to leave.
Final Thoughts
Maria is a little too old for my liking and I don’t normally like mother-son incest (but mother-stepson is ok), but I’d be lying if I say I didn’t get aroused when the plot twist is revealed.
