A writer gets caught up in something dangerous after witnessing a crime and identifying the supposed perpetrator in a line-up.
A writer witnesses a mu..er that may have been politically motivated involving Argentinian Nationals. After picking the man out of a line-up and persuasively testifying in court against him, the man is convicted. However, his girlfriend shows up and says the man is innocent and produces a picture of a young offspring which she says will be without a father. This leaves the writer with doubts and then when he sees another man who looks very much like the killer, he becomes more certain that he made a mistake. However, everything is not as it appears and the writer finds himself drawn into the mu..er and blackmail.

While Connor McEwan (Craig Sheffer) is waiting in a jewelry store, a man knocks on the door and gestures to open it for him. Connor opens the door for him, and the jewelry store is burglarized, and the thief runs away.
Later, he is captured and Connor is contacted to identify him. Once he has done it, Connor is approached by his girlfriend, Nikki (Brigitte Bako), who tells him that he made a mistake and that her boyfriend is innocent. Connor shares his skepticism with her and leaves. Afterwards, Connor sees the thief outside and realizes that he made a mistake.
It seems that Hector, the boyfriend, has a twin brother and he’s the thief.
Connor and Nikki will do everything to exonerate Hector.
There are two cheating scenes in this movie:
The first one is about Connor’s ex-wife, Peggy (Torri Higginson), and it unfolds as follows:
After the incident at the jewelry store Connor is invited to a party to mark the release of his ex-wife’s new boyfriend’s book, as Connor himself says:
"there's nothing like seeing your ex-wife walk into a room with this month's hot young writer"
Peggy spots him and goes to join him to introduce her boyfriend Dexter, and also to make him jealous. After the party ends, Connor goes home and is surprised to see Peggy waiting for him in his house. Connor, who was initially reluctant, finally decides to make love with his ex-wife (34:35). (A very beautiful scene where the actress does not hesitate to show her breasts)
The second scene is very disappointing and it concerns Nikki who is supposed to be the star of the movie, while Connor and Nikki are investigating to exonerate Hector, they will get closer and make love (50:13). Prior to that, she kisses him at 45:46.
