Plot - When her teenage daughter Marisa (Victoria Abril) attempts suicide, Luisa (Concha Velasco) sits in the hospital clinic reflecting on the breakdown of her marriage to Pedro (Ramiro Oliveros), a charismatic sports journalist. Though their marriage began happily, Pedro's repeated extramarital affairs fractured their relationship, prompting Luisa to seek independence and enter into extramarital liaisons of her own. Marisa, discovering both of her parents' secrets and double lives, succumbs to psychological trauma, leaving Luisa and Pedro to confront the emotional fallout of their unfaithfulness while waiting for their daughter's recovery.
