The movie starts with the husband already in jail for murder and his wife visiting him. Then the movie goes back to the events leading to his imprisonment. The wife who was estranged from her husband met a guy at the nightclub she worked at and fell for him. When her husband told her that the guy was already planning to marry someone else, she decided to make love to him one last time and then kill him. Her husband became the prime suspect as the police believed that he had the motive to kill his wife's lover.
