As the director and the cameraman of a documentary project, Meng and Jianxian are traveling around Taiwan filming statues of religious and historical figures. Their conversations and debates on the statues often touch on the political reality of Taiwan. Meng's girlfriend, Ning, is involved in a mediocre commercial feature film (initially as a location scout and subsequently as an actress). Instead of realizing her ambition, she finds herself being exploited by the filmmakers. On the other hand, Meng and Ning's relationship is gradually faded.

Cheating Notes

While the boyfriend is traveling around Taiwan and filming a documentary, his girlfriend is working in a cheap film as a location scout and an actress. She will end up fucking her co-actor inside a van at the end of the movie.

Interestingly, the girlfriend's working relationship with the actor is not so good while they are filming. She is at odds with the director and is uncomfortable and resistant in her kissing/petting scene with the actor. One night while drinking at the film location, she and the actor argue about work ethics and stuff. He says that she shouldn't be a diva and should just follow what her director asks her to do like a good actress should.

And so while they are fucking inside the van later, she tells him that it's funny because he didn't seem to like her and even insulted her but in the end, he came looking for her and fucked her.

There's heavy pumping action in the sex scene but it's a brief, one-angle shot and the backseat of the van is obscuring the chick's body (although you will see her boobs pop out from time to time, that is, if you get really close to your screen). Overall, the cheating scene is lacking, but the chick does have some naked scenes with her boyfriend.
