Diego decides to travel to Lanzarote with his wife Alba to try and save their marriage for the umpteenth time. A toxic relationship, with no sexual chemistry and constant arguments, amidst comings and goings with other people, not caring how much they hurt one another. Alba keeps her shell drawn tightly around herself, not realising that her attitude is the cause of their failed relationship.

While Diego is fiercely determined to fight for a fresh start, Alba remains entirely detached and closed off. Their volatile energy immediately infects their hosts, Irene and Ben, an older engaged couple whose own seemingly peaceful stability begins to fracture upon their guests' arrival. When a simple magazine marriage quiz forces all four individuals to confront their hidden realities, an explosion of repressed resentment, jealousy, and bitter truths unspools, systematically dismantling both relationships in a paradise that has turned into an emotional pressure cooker.
