Cheating Notes
Junichi is a mysterious young man without a job or home who seems to easily seduce women of different ages, some of them married.
In the first episode, Junichi wanders into a Tai Chi class and meets Eiko, a married pregnant Tai Chi instructor who is currently on maternity leave. She has sex with him in a love hotel (23:21).
In the second episode, Junichi, working as a bartender, meets Tamako, a manga author, and her live-in boyfriend who is also a manga author. Tamako notices an intimate moment between her boyfriend and her married sister when they visit the latter at her place one night while her husband is not home (15:47). She refuses her boyfriend's offer to drive her home because he's drunk and takes a taxi, leaving the two to spend more time with each other that night. When she finds out that her boyfriend and her married sister engaged in an affair, she has sex with Junichi (28:41). They do it up against a tree.
In Episode 4, Junichi, working on a big hole in a field beside a village as a construction worker, bangs a suburban wife (20:39).
In the sixth and final episode, it is Junichi's turn to be cheated on. He begins a relationship with Mika and starts living with him. Mika begins meeting different men via a dating app, although she seems to be already doing this even before shacking up with Junichi, as attested by the first scene where she was about to have sex with a guy but he did something she didn't like so it turned violent. Although we see her and Junichi have sex several times, the closest we can get to seeing any action between her and the men she meets is at 13:49, where we see her buttoning her blouse after she just had sex with a guy in his car.
