Chrissie (or Katie Joe or Callie) is basically homeless and picks up men to put a roof over her head. She and her friend Cece are trying to earn and save money to have an apartment of their own.
Chrissie begins a relationship with David. They kiss on a bench (13:26). After they kiss and part for the day, she gives Frank, a shelter supervisor, a blowjob for a roof for the night (17:16).
Chrissie's relationship with David progresses. They have sex several times (31:54, 33:19, 34:50, 35:57) and she starts living in his apartment, which his roommate doesn't like.
