As men become weaker and women’s sexuality becomes more promiscuous, the traditional model of men as the pursuers and women as the pursued is breaking down. Women are now actively seeking one-night stands and approaching men themselves. This story follows three young women and three young men, weaving in the psychological dynamics between those who do the pursuing and those who are pursued. Despite being called the “new generation,” these young people struggle with love, friendship, and human relationships, and this work portrays their human experiences
Cheating Notes
02:46 - Hiromi announces to her co-workers and friends, Reiko and Yuki, that she is engaged to Murakawa and shows them her engagement ring.
11:22 - Reiko has sex with one of the two guys that she, Hiromi, and Reiko meet at the bar. We will call him Mr. Shades, since he's always wearing shades.
28:55 - After Reiko reveals to Hiromi that she and Murakawa had a past, Hiromi calls Murakawa, who is currently out of town, and confirms if he slept with Reiko before. He says yes, but that he and Reiko are over.
32:36 - Distraught at what she found out, Hiromi has sex with Mr. Shades.
41:27 - Murakawa meets Reiko and asks her why she told Hiromi about their past relationship. She tells him that she won't bother them anymore if he sleeps with her for one last time. Murakawa agrees and they have sex in a hotel.
49:44 - Hiromi tells Murakawa over dinner that she slept with a guy. He leaves her in the restaurant.
59:30 - Hiromi and Reiko go to the amusement park with Murakawa and Mr. Shades. This outing is planned by Reiko, who is scheming something. While they are riding the roller coaster (1:02:21), Reiko reveals to Murakawa that it was Mr. Shades whom Hiromi had sex with. Murakawa reacts by assaulting Mr. Shades. After they calm down, Reiko suggests that they all apologize to each other. They reconcile and laugh it off before the ride is over. Reiko and Mr. Shades leave the roller coaster while Hiromi and Murakawa remain in the coaster car. They kiss and make up and have sex when they get home (1:04:08).
