Jason's estranged father takes him in. When he arrives at his father's mansion he meets Belinda, a runaway whom his father also took in, and is instantly attracted to her. Because of his long estrangement to his father Jason is just discovering his father to be a violent person and decides to take Belinda and leave the mansion. But their governess begs them to stay. Complicated events follow all of which are caused by Belinda. Jason's estranged father searches for him and takes him in. At the same time, his father also takes in Belinda, a runaway, after she frantically approaches him one night, pleading for help and claiming that some men are after her.
