Cheating Scenes in The Passion of Ayn Rand (1999)

The young couple Barbara (Julie Delpy) and Nathaniel are fans of Ayn Rand (Helen Miller). They become friends with her and her husband, Frank.

Soon, Nathaniel and Ayn become closer to each other and announce to Frank and Barbara that they are going to start an affair. She reasons out that since they are intelligent beings and unlike other lesser human beings, they can understand and will allow it to happen (that is, allow her to fuck a much younger guy, how convenient for her). Frank can’t really do anything about it since he has no money of his own, so he reluctantly allows it. Barbara, meanwhile, tells herself that she won’t be a lesser being (meaning, Ayn successfully psyches her out) and allows it reluctantly as well.

We see Ayn and Nathaniel meet and fuck several times after that. At the same time, Ayn also works on her book, The Atlas Shrugged. I guess the old hag is getting a lot of inspiration from getting fucked by a young guy.

In the latter part of the film, Nathaniel starts an affair with his student, a young, hot one named Caroline. By this time, it seems that he’s grown tired of fucking the old hag Ayn.

Barbara meets a musician. You’d think she’ll go all out in getting revenge and fuck him, but no, the most she does with him is to kiss and dance with him. She won’t do anything more than that with him, at least not until she gets Nathaniel’s permission first.

So Barbara asks for her husband’s permission (just like he asked for hers with Ayn). Nathaniel ridicules her choice and tells her that he won’t give his permission because the musician is not an intellectual like them. Barbara calls him on his hypocrisy and brings up Caroline, who is not an intellectual. She has a suspicion at this time that they’re having an affair. Nathaniel denies it. Barbara does not let her affair with the musician progress because her husband does not approve.

Later in the movie, Nathaniel confesses to Barbara about his affair with Caroline. Barbara tells this to Ayn who called her up one day, complaining about how Nathaniel has not been the same lately. Ayn gets mad at Nathaniel and confronts him in front of Barbara and Frank. The cuckolded Frank looks so pitiful hearing his wife telling her lover that he should have loved her instead of Caroline.

Final Thoughts

Barbara (Julie Delpy) really should have cheated in revenge because she is the younger and much hotter wife. Ayn Rand is just an old, manipulative, ugly hag. I actually find Frank pitiful for being cuckolded by an old witch like her. Had she been young and hot, and therefore, had the right to cuckold beta males, I would have forgiven it and get aroused instead, but that’s not the case.

If you fap to Helen Mirren (who is already old in this 90s movie), then, by all means, feel free to enjoy this one, otherwise, no.

Helen Mirren shows some skin (yuck), while Barbara doesn’t (dang). Caroline (Sybil Darrow) comes to the rescue by showing us her titties and her humping ability. She is hot enough to give this movie some fap value.
