Description
A film critic has a spat with a girl he’s sleeping with which leads to him killing her accidentally. He panics and covers his track, choosing to make it appear that he isn’t there during that night instead of reporting to the police what really happened. A crooked private detective is privy to what he did and blackmails him. This leads him to commit other crimes to protect his secret. The police officer assigned to his case is not dumb but is sympathetic to him because he has a screenwriting ambition and wants him to check out the screenplay he made. It looks like the film critic will be getting away with it until he starts an affair with the investigating officer’s wife.

Cheating Scenes in A Slight Case of Murder (1999)
The film critic accidentally kills a girl he’s sleeping with and gets investigated. One of the investigating officers assigned to the case invites him for dinner because he wants to show him the screenplay he made. The film critic meets the officer’s wife (Julia Campbell) during that dinner and he tells the officer how lucky he is because his wife is hot.
The film critic invites the couple to his apartment to watch an old film with him. But when the day arrives, the officer says he can’t go due to work and only his wife can come. The wife arrives alone at the film critic’s apartment with some baked goods and wearing a dress that really shows off her nice cleavage.
The film critic and the officer’s wife start watching the film while sitting beside each other on the couch. During a tense part in the movie, the wife grabs the critic’s hand and squeezes it. Then after a short while, she puts his hand on her lap and grips it with her two hands. Next, she grabs his leg and squeezes it a few times. All of her actions are supposed to be because of the tension in the movie, but the film critic interprets these as clear signals of her interest so he makes the move and kisses her.
On his first attempt, the wife ignores him and does not avert her eyes away from the screen. The critic kisses her again. This time, she says that they shouldn’t do it, and still acts like she’s uninterested. But when the critic tries to kiss her again the third time, she turns her head towards him and welcomes his mouth with hers and they kiss. They proceed to have sex on the couch and then in his bedroom.
The wife comes back to the critic’s apartment after a few days. They have sex standing up, with her back against the side of a bookshelf and her feet wrapped around his waist.
Suddenly her husband calls and the answering machine activates. The wife gets really aroused hearing her husband’s voice on the phone while she is getting screwed by another guy, so she screams loudly and becomes more aggressive in fucking the critic. They fall to the floor because of that.
On a different day, the husband comes to the door of the film critic unannounced. He doesn’t know that his wife is inside the critic’s bedroom at that moment. The film critic reluctantly lets him in.
The husband sees the pair of wine glass along with the wine in the critic’s living room and instantly gets that he has company. He apologizes and promises to leave soon. As soon as the husband leaves, the wife comes out of the bedroom and aggressively hugs and kisses the critic, apparently being very aroused again at the situation.
The husband knocks again and the critic tells her to go back to the bedroom. He opens the door and the husband tells him something that he forgot to tell earlier. As soon as her husband leaves the second time, the wife comes rushing out and attacks the critic intensely again. He tells her to be quiet because her husband has not gotten far away yet and might hear her. The wife responds and asks him if it doesn’t make him hot almost getting caught like that.
