The Nagasaki family consists of four people: the parents and twin siblings. That night, the three except for the father Kajitsu were relaxing in the living room, while Kajitsu went to a brothel to commemorate the end of his life as an office worker. Exhausted by human relationships, Kajitsu wanted to build everything from scratch, so he decided to move to the countryside. Meanwhile, his wife Hiromi was having an affair with the mediocre actor Fuji Ikuma, but she broke up with him, thinking it was a good opportunity to have the ideal affair. Hiromi is what the world calls a beautiful witch. She thought there must be someone more suitable for her than a man like Ikuma.
Cheating Notes
The husband quits his job and takes his wife, son, and daughter to the countryside to start a life of farming. While they are viewing his farmland, the wife talks to her lover on the phone inside the car, recalling having sex with him in his car just before her trip to the countryside (6:11).
The wife has sex with her husband (44:02). They had sex earlier in the movie, but I think this one is better.
The husband confronts the wife in front of their offsprings: he tells them that he saw a video of her and her lover, a washed-up actor, having sex (56:07). He slaps her during the confrontation. He also says something about their neighbor farmer, who has been helping with their farming, forcing himself on her. Although she resisted initially, she enjoyed it in the end (57:57). Now I'm not sure if the husband is saying that this actually happened or if he is just explaining a hypothetical scenario, though probably the former.
After the confrontation, the wife calls her lover and tells him to come over. They then have sex (1:04:01)—she leans on the backseat of his car while he takes her from behind, standing outside near the open rear door.
At the end of the film, the wife gets pregnant. The husband is proud, but the offspring is probably her lover's.
