Forty-year-old Vittorio has a good job, a beautiful wife, two gorgeous sons and a magnificent house. All this has been achieved through effort and self-sacrifice, coupled with a profound ethical sense. He is an assistant surgeon in a private clinic. As well as being an excellent doctor, Vittorio also considers himself to be a good husband and a good father. After ending a phone call with his wife, Vittorio looks back at his boss’s wife, who is sitting in the boss's office (5:46). She returns his gaze with a meaningful smile, implying that they may be having an affair. A few moments later (6:18), seeing Vittorio approaching, she removes her blazer to reveal form-fitting lingerie inside the private clinic's restroom. She greets him with a welcoming smile, lets him into the room, and closes the door, suggesting they are about to have implied sex.
